Quality:
I think that the quality was vey good side by side with my standard the quality of wood seems better the craftsmanship on the fet board is outstanding and I am very satisfyed with its looks and weight
Sound:
tone is excellent, I was blown away by the 57's I read alot online of people who said side by side you would not hear the difference they are wrong. This guitart has bite and clarity in that bite. I personally like it much better than my standard sound wise. The tone really makes my hair stand up and makes me shiver in anticipation to play it again
Reliability:
just got it so hopefully it will stand the test of time.
Overall:
this guitat is amazing. I own an Sg standard and it is awesome. I did researsch online and read many different opinions and I purchaed it on an impulse. best damn decision I have ever made really. the sg standard and 61 reissue are really very different and in a good way.
Playability and Feel:
very smooth neck in comparisson with my standard, but in no way does it effect tone or sustain or playability
Tone:
tone, well all I can say is holy crap. The sound onthis guitar is the tone you have been looking for it is growling and mean, but sexy when you want her to be. She gives me that unleashed bite that my standard can not. This tone is what rock gods are made of
Finish:
outstanding finish, very red looking pictures on this web site or elswhere do not do it justice. I am usually an ebony guy, but I was very impressed with this color.
Action:
I think the action is pretty good I may lower mine a bit later, but for now it serves its purpose

Quality:
Gibson has a reputation for designing and building a quality guitar and this is no exception.
Sound:
Couldn't sound any better
Reliability:
Just got it
Overall:
I owned an SG in 1966 and this new one plays as well and sounds as good as the old one - I don't have the old one anymore to compare, but from memory sounds as good to me - This was the 1st guitar I have purchased on-line, so I was somewhat apprehensive - but, I want to thank American Musical for excellent service - the entire purchase to reciept process was perfect
Playability and Feel:
The have a Strat and LP and the SG neck is slightly longer than either, but I prefer the SG - It has the 1960 slim taper neck which is very easy to play.
Tone:
Excellent tone - smooth when necessary and has a nice bite when needed
Finish:
Perfect finish - this guitar was delivered in perfect condition
Action:
I was surprised that the action was great - no string buzz at any fret and easy to play

Quality:
First class . . .
Sound:
As good as your playing and amp . . .
Reliability:
Too soon to know, but looks very well made / finished.
Overall:
Wonderful guitar in every aspect, though a bit pricey.
Playability and Feel:
Wonderfully set up . . SO easy for bending notes . . fast neck . . great to play . . but not the guitar for just bangin' away on. Very light, fast nicely shaped neck, cutouts let you get past the frets . . great frets . . .
Tone:
Nice sound, what I expected . . .
Finish:
Flawless . . .
Action:
Great! . . . gotta play it a bit differently than my 78 Les Paul . . this has got a lot more finesse to it

Best investment i ever made
Quality:
amazing
Sound:
stock pickups are great, but if they're not your thing it's an easy fix.
Reliability:
actually amazingly durable, short neck set scared me when i purchased it, but it actually seems to hold very well.
Overall:
I absolutely love this SG... best neck of any guitar ever made, and everyone i know agrees.
Playability and Feel:
the lightest guitar ever made. I know of squiers and other cheap laminate guitars that are heavier than this guitar, but the mahogany really gives it a nice balence. Once again, the best neck of any guitar ever made. Hands down.
Tone:
Standard Gibson PAF sound. Great for anything, but if you'd prefer a certain sound you can always swap for something else.
Finish:
nice dark cherry finish, different from what you get on SGs now. The short Pickguard gives more room for the finish to shine too.
Action:
amazing.
