Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? As a player for 45 years, I can't say enough about the build, materials and components available at this price point . A USA Gibson working musicians can afford . Reliability How has it stood up over time? N/A General Your general opinion of this product. Came out of the box setup and ready to tune . Classic SG sound and looks, what more could an old rocker ask for ? Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck can only be described as satin smooth . The tailpiece and bridge are adjusted to my specs now and the action might best be described as glass like . Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? From dark and booming to sizzling hot, this axe delivers all the SG tones you know from Angus and Duane and Robby Krieger . The pickups are and controls are smooth and easy to adjust to your desired tone . Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The stain is beautiful . I did use a polish with carnuba wax, to protect it . Action How was the action out of the box? Perfect action for an intermediate player, right out of the box !
Beautiful Instrument

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Mahogany body, rosewood neck, and the same pickups as a Les Paul Supreme. Reliability How has it stood up over time? just got it cant tell General Your general opinion of this product. for the price this is great. better than some of my more expensive imports Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? the neck is slim for a 50s style. The action sucked from the factory but after setting it up the way I like it it is great. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Pickups are HOT!. you have to crank way down on the volume to clean up the sound, but that could just be the pot. way heavyier than the pearly gates in my fender. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? the finish is nice you can see through the rubbed white to the wood grain. with the black hardware as a contrast it looks cool. Action How was the action out of the box? ok but I like my strings low. I had to set it up. Intonation is perfect though. no tweeking needed there.
