The Songwriter feels great to me. I am six feet tall with fairly large hands. The shape and radius of the neck fits me very well. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Mellow when it needs to be. Bright on the upper frets. No complaints. Action How was the action out of the box? The action was a little bit high when I got it. A simple truss rod adjustment corrected it in just a few minutes. No fret buzz. It's perfect now. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Excellent. Buffed to perfection. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I haven't had it a year yet, but so far there are no issues. It looks and sounds as good as when I got it.

I record with it unpluged, using an audio technica 4050 condencer mic, and have gotten incredible results. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck?
