This throne accommodates all of the drummers at my church. Some our short and heavy while a few are very tall and slender. Nobody complains and all say that it’s quite comfortable and gets the job when they play for our service. Highly recommend!

I had been looking to replace an old wooden stool and glad I thought about drum thrones. This one is very sturdy and had good reviews so I decided to buy. No regrets.Comfortable and well built.
One comment- some reviews, especially very large online "A", some mention that the lock feature does not work to hold the seat in place and the seat slides down. On mine the the lock clamp( not sure what else to call it) was put on upside down in the factory. There is a squares notch that the clamp need to match up with when installed correctly, so I struggled to pry the clamp up- using a screwdriver blade, flip the clamp over and then use the screwdriver blade again to be able to slide the clamp back and into place the correct way- a one time fix that works perfectly so far. Very glad I purchased this quality throne.

I was very happy to come across a saddle style throne from such a reputable brand for such an awesome price. The fact that it was included in my five pay plan wast the cherry on the sundae.
This is a very comfortable very sturdy throne for an amazing price.
To put the quality and durabilty into perspective,I weigh 350lbs and have had no issues or concerns with it's ability to support my weight and it has been extremely comfortable to boot!
I would recommend this throne, as well as, AMS to anyone, any day!

I was looking for an upgrade to the PDP throne I've had for a while. The PDP didn't offer the height or the stability that I wanted to have, as I've recently began to play the drums exclusively. The reviews of this throne on this site led me to purchase it, and the "motorcycle" style seat is nice for comfort and flexibility. My only issue with the throne is that the post loosens, which was my issue with the seat of the PDP. It's not nearly as bad as the PDP, but I am not experienced enough with drum thrones to know if this is normal, and I try to consider my weight (170 lbs) and the height (I'm about 5'10 and I like about an inch from feet flat on the ground) as a factor for this. Overall, it's much more sturdy and provides the height that I was looking for.

This is a nice piece of gear, very comfortable and easy to use for people such as myself who sit a little closer to the kit. The one problem i do have is that the screw that connects the seat to the stand frequently comes loose so when moving the throne around you might accidentally drop the stand if holding it by the seat. Not the first, nor last time this will happen with drum thrones, however.

I have an old throne I had when I got my acoustic drum set that got the job done but, wasn’t comfortable at all. I decided to upgrade my throne along with my drum set and I’m so glad I did. It’s so comfortable and I could sit for hours on it. Super easy to assemble. Overall, perfect and exactly what I wanted.

September 2016: With myself being an athletic frame of 260 Lbs., there is ample enough padding to cushion my load during a drum session!. So, I do believe it'll be excellent for my 10 y/o 65 lb. god son; to whom it was purchased for.

Looks good but the friction devise doesn't hold weight very well. It is ok when my wife of 115# plays, but me at 210# it just can't hold me.
