General What is your overall opinion of this product? I have never owned a Gretsch before so this was a stretch to say the least. I own Gibson Les Pauls and Epiphone Les Pauls, and Ibanez guitars. But I wanted that classic look and sound. Well this is the guitar for it. First of all it looks fanstastic in Aspen Green. Outside my normal Red and Black guitars. But my wife talked me into it and boy am I glad she did. I love the classic look of the bigsby tremolo and the hollow body sound. The neck feels good in your hand and its very light in weight. So not heavy like my Les Pauls. Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? I play Southern Rock and Christian rock so this guitar fits into those generas very well. I love the sound, very wide mid range. The pick ups work well with a tube amp for sure. I played it through a solid state and a tube amp. Much better sound with the tube amp. Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Very light weight easy to manuver around. Very comfortable on stage, can perform a whole gig with this one guitar, and your back wont be sore afterwords. Tone How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin? Great tone, very clasic sound, smooth bright pick ups. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I just LOVE the Aspen Green. Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? I think I got exactly what I wanted in this guitar. If your looking at this guitar you will not be dissapointed in it at all. It performs well, looks hot, and plays well. I have gotten lots of compliments on mine. Playability How was the action out of the box? I was very surprised to find that all I had to do was tune it up and it was ready to go. I figured I would have to dropp it off at the luthier 1st to set it up. But she was ready to go right out of the box.
Wonderful guitar, worth the money, plays fantastically and shipping was top notch

General Your general opinion of this product. I bought this primarily as a gigging guitar, so I can leave my 6120SSU at home. This gets the job done, looks nice, and sounds pretty good. I definitely can tell the difference between this guitar and my pro model, both in how it plays/sounds, and in my wallet. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? High quality product that should stand up to everyday playing. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone from the pickups are very high-mid rangey. At some point, I'll probably replace them with TV Jones, but for now, these will work just fine. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The paint and clearcoat look nice.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This guitar really lives up to Gretschs name. Well made , great sound and plays real well. Looks are right up there with with all my Gretsch Gits ! General Your general opinion of this product. I'm diggin' it and will probably pick up the FSR in Caddy Green if they're still available real soon ! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone is perfect for me. I've plated Gretsch G6120s for years and these pups are fine. There's no need for any changes with 'em. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish is flawless !
