Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? For some reason, this doesn't seem like a guitar that can keep in tact for a long time. I don't think 50 years from now anyone will be gushing about their '07' Gretsch? Reliability How has it stood up over time? For having a Bigs', it stays in tune fairly well. Intonation can get squirrely however. General Your general opinion of this product. For the $, good guitar; gets you a Bigs' if you want; great playability and action Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Weight, action, and neck relationship to you body is very comfortable. Not much access to 18+ frets on the LP types, more of a rhythm player in that respect. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Nice twang playing open chords. But no snappy or biting like TV Jones. Pickups i would characterize as mellow. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Nice looking guitar, maybe a bit too painted and lacquered up for my tastes. Action How was the action out of the box? Great, truly great. Has good weight too, lighter than other solid body guitars.
