After the sad death of my fender hellcat I wanted to get a solid acoustic electric and damn was I about to be blown away this guitar people always talk about that "Grestch tone" and now I know what they are talking about this thing after a proper set up plays like butter and the acoustic tone is perfect not to loud but with just enough punch plug it in and that "Grestch tone" will blow you away I like pairing a Big Muff Deluxe Pi with it for a grungy punk tone that punchs you in the face

This is the best guitar I've ever owned hands down. The classic Gretsch tone and quality, oh my god!! This guitar sounds and looks beautiful. From the crisp acoustic pickup you get that clear warm sound most acoustic players are looking for. Whether you play southern rock or folk or country, you cannot go wrong with this guitar. I absolutely love my Gretsch Syncromatic acoustic electric guitar. My best purchase ever in my life. Most definitely proud to own this beauty....!!!

This is now one of three Gretsch guitars and it's a GREAT "in between" for my Gretsch electric and my Rancher Acoustic Electric. The fingering (and strings) are more like the electric, but it still has a great acoustic hollower sound as my Gretsch acoustic-electrin Rancher guitar. With all three of these guitars I have all of the bases covered!

have had this guitar for a year and a half and it is still my main guitar love it great action stays in tune and the sound is wonderful totally sold on gretsch guitars I wanted some time before I gave a review
