The main difference between this and the Takamime is the neck. The Gretsch neck is just enough smaller to play much easier. The fishman is great.

This is a beauty. I had some doubts ordering but relied on the Gretch name and AMS has always treated me right. With their payment plans it makes it easy. I really fell in love with this one. Setup was perfect sounds great acoustically and thru the amp. The only prob was the end pin came unscrewed but it was in the box. I screwed it back on and its good as gold. Thanks AMS and Gretch for my new love!!

I have a Gretsch Pro Jet from 2011, and that guitar is so versatile and never disappoints. This Jumbo Rancher has the top Gretsch quality I have come to expect and appreciate, with a big sound and a growl when used with my acoustic amp. It is going to be a fun guitar for a long time.

Product Review
I am pleased with this new Rancher. The quality , finish , neck , fretwork are all great for the money. I didn't need any setup , action was fine. As for tone / sound , not bad at all. Some other reviews I've read said , for a jumbo it was thin. Well if you compare it to a Gibson J200 then I guess it might be a bit thinner. Plugged in it's GREAT !
As for where it is made , very good work. My pro line models are made in Japan and electromatics are Korea. All are Gretsch quality. For this price , BUY IT !!!
