PST 5 Rock Set
Quality:
I'm not a pro drummer, but these cymbals have stood up to a few months banging by my son and I, and after a quick wipe down they look as good as new. I heard very good things about their durability, which was a major factor in my decision to buy these.
Features:
They're cymbals, not much to say about features.
Sound:
To my ears, they're much better than other starter sets. Nice bright, penetrating sound. Others have mentioned not liking the hats, but after working on my technique, I really like them. You really have to lay into the crash to get it to open up, but after all, it is a rock crash. I love the washy ride sound and the bell just cuts through anything.
Overall:
I wanted good cymbals at a good price and that's what I got.
Value:
Very good value. I added a 14" PST 5 thin crash to my set and I'm ready to rock for quite some time.
Appearance:
Definitely different than other manufacturer's cymbals, but I like them. They take abuse and still look nice.
