I figured this would be a nifty and handy thing to have but turns out that it is much more than that. I have found it indispensable when playing gigs and needing to do an emergency repair on a pedal or a guitar. Great storage compartment for tools and nice surface to work on. Very sturdy not flimsy at all when in use.

I purchased this as a gift for my fiancé and he absolutely loves it. He has recently taken to building guitars and we don't have a large space where he can do it, yet. The last one was built on the ottoman using some towels and a neck stand that I had gotten for him from a kit a year ago. When I saw this, I knew it would be perfect for the next one (until we can build a workshop). We've had it about 3 weeks. It is solid, and well carpeted. You can tell it is high quality. Sadly, his kits don't fit in the hollows (I was hoping for extra storage), but no points off for it as it didn't advertise as storage. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

The GMT003B is very portable sets up just about anywhere makes working on your guitar easy and safe has storage for the basic tools that you need wherever you need them when not in use closes up in stores out of the way that I love.

There always seemed to be stuff in the way when I needed to change strings. Now I just pull this out and I have a nice support wherever I want to work. My tools and strings fit inside - no more looking around for a cutter, winder, etc. It may be a tad small for a large body acoustic but I think you could make it work by using towel.

The Briefcase design makes grundorf super easy to carry all of your tools needed for guitar maintenance! It’s sections help prevent items inside from being thrown around that much and the carpeted material is super soft on the finish of your instruments. Highly recommend this portable maintenance table!

After almost having an accident which would have surely broken or by the least cracked the neck on my Les Paul. I started thinking up some plans to build me a nice maintenance station. I had seen these a few times before but never really paid much attention until the near mishap. I have a local music store and AMS that I exclusively deal with so I seen the mats and then I ran across Grundorf portable and I ordered it on the spot. It’s exactly what I needed it’s nice and padded so it doesn’t scratch. It cradles the neck and doesn’t have to much incline so it makes cleaning and or general maintenance a breeze and it’s boxes in around the body so no chance for sliding off. And when folded up it’s even got room for your tools and strings. You can literally take and set it up anywhere at anytime! I love it and my sincere thanks to Grundorf for having this and for being affordable and the quality!!!

Good quality but I expected more tool storage even closable spaces so tools I want to keep in it stay put. Neck support is non adjustable but the ability to fold it up is great. I just wish it was a bit wider. I may end up just going with a good matt and neck support.

Great product! I needed a workstation I could use at home but also something portable for tech gigs. Perfect for what I needed. It could be a little bigger. Dread sized acoustics will not fit in the compartment but still very easy to get them to stay in place.
Portability is really my favorite part of this piece. I love being able to just fold it up and having all my tools from home. No need for a seperate tech case. Compartments are big enough to hold my Dewalt cordless screw driver, a Boss pedal tuner, capos, strings etc.

Like the fact it folds for storage and moving around. Covers on the side compartments would be handy so small items could remain inside when closed without rattling all over. The first table I bought my husband did not close (model 002 maybe?) and the workmanship was shoddy--felt was coming off the wooden frame, but this one seems much better and he is very happy with it!

I like everything about this table except for the material used on the outside (inside also but not a big issue) as it draws every bit of dirt, dust, hair or what have you like a magnet. If I set this on the floor whatever is there ends up on the outside of the table and it doesn't clean easily. As far as doing what my needs are it's a five star. I would recommend this maintenance table as long as you don't have a dog/cat that sheds big time as it will end up on it when you close it up.

I've had one of these since 2011. Great investment! Still holding up and it gets used often. I have it packed with tools and it holds everything I need for basic setup work and pickup changes. Well worth the money, highly recommend.

Bitter/sweet,took it out of the box, looked beautiful, nice weight etc. Opened it up and was impressed with the storage area, sturdy,
nice feltish material, soft..........then I tried to raise the neck rest. The 2 hasp did not align. They were way off, there is the latch/hasp you use when you close the case and there is a latch on the neck rest, they are suppose to line up and latch together. I had to remove them, align them, drill new holes, reassemble them. NOW I have a very handy luthier table, portable, I keep it under the table I use to work on guitars.

Works well enough for what I need. I’m a Bass Tech and don’t have any more than two basses at a time at my station so I don’t need a lot of options. Holds enough tools and cleaning supplies as well as enough room left over for a tuner. Happy with it so far.

Very disappointed in receiving this only to find out my Taylor acoustic would not fit in it. It is fine for electrics. Ad says for electric and acoustic. Outside is 16 inches but inside is 14 1/2 inches. Most acoustics are 16 so they will not fit inside. It will fit on top edges, then you have to worry about it sliding off on you all the time. Looks to be built sturdy. Hoping the GMT-004V is bigger.

I used this with my Martin D-28 and Rainsong D-1000 and it does not fit in the opening. The guitar body rests on the sides. Fits fine for an electric, but not a Dreadnought. So 5 stars for electric and 1 for acoustic gives this an average of 3. Unfortunately I bought it for acoustic guitars....

It does what it's suppose to do. I was just hoping it was going to be a little wider so that I could atleast store some of my tools in there. The only things that really fit are my polishes and cloths, All my tools in their case and strings wont fit in the little cavities, so I'll still be toting around a briefcase full of tools, atleast i have this work bench now instead of trying to do work on a table in the bar or venue.

I have many different basses and I do all my own electrical work, fret work, inlays and all other modifications that may be required at the time. I saw this product and decided to check it out. The construction of it impressed me right off the bat. I was concerned that the weight of some of my basses with the exotic woods would cause it to rock while I was working, however, it stayed solid and steady. It has plenty of storage space for my sodering irons, files and other tools I use for the jobs. When I'm done working it closes up and sits on top of one of my speaker cabinets like a part of the speaker. Good job guys with this one !!!!!
