General Your general opinion of this product. Very well made, excellent playability, huge sound. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very well made. excellent fit and finish. No excess glue anywhere. Frets are well finished. The only flaw was a sharp corner on the nut on the low E side. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Brighter than I expected at first. Even a little brassy. After playing for a week its mellowed a bit. Very good separation of notes. Bass was less than expected at first, but the guitar is beginning to open up and the bass is coming through. In all well balanced and the overall tone is good and getting better. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Finish is fantastic, no drips, runs, swirl marks, etc. Top of guitar has nicely book matched spruce, lightly figured with nice tight grain. Rosewood back and sides are beautiful. I've played guitars costing four times as much (cough Gibson cough) that are not finished nearly as well.
Excellent!!

General Your general opinion of this product. Sounds beautiful. Very piano like and chords don't have that compressed, flat percussive sound of many guitars. Perfect for all styles of playing. Wood is perfectly matched and very well made as is the case. I love it. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I bought it "blemished" but only found two little scuff marks that wiped off with a damp cloth. Pick guard still had plastic covering it. No scratches or flaws that I could find anywhere inside or out. Not marked used, full warranty. All for $180 less. I will definitely look for used/blemished items again. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Nice warm, melodic tone you'd expect from rosewood. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Finish is great. Poly instead of nitrocellose, but I'm ok with that.
