Great frigging tuner
Quality:
I would hope its the same quality of the DOD units I got back in the 90's.
Sound:
Its a great tone, it adds nothing and takes nothing away from my guitar. This is a true by-pass tuner and I love the ability to either do a mute tune or you can hear the tuning process.
Reliability:
This is a fancier DOD-Digitec unit and I believe since I have DOD pedals from the early 90's and they still work great I would hope this unit is built to those same standards.
Overall:
Since I purchased my Marshall JMD 1/2 stack from AMS I no longer need the Pod X3 Live and thats was also used as my tuner; so I needed another tuner. I looked through all of the different tuners and it was a tough decision between this and the Boss TU3. After reading all the reviews about the Boss not being a true by-pass I went with this unit. I have had it a few days and one gig later and I am a believer. Love all the options in tuning and its easy to program etc... I love this tuner.
Playability and Feel:
Feels like a foot pedal
Tone:
No tone added or subtracted from my guitar; at last a true bypass thats actually a true bypass.
Finish:
It looks to have the same quality paint jab as the older Boss, DOD and Ibanez pedals from the 80's and 90's. One thing I love for sure is the unit has a huge velcro bottom for those with pedal boards. Nice touch Digitech
Action:
Great action open the box and it did a few back-flips; 5 jumping jacks and a few push ups then sounded like Arnold Schwarzenegger and repeated that famous line, "I'll be back".

Built like a tank
Quality:
Very well built. Heavy and solid. Just as a foot pedal should be.
Sound:
I didn't hear any difference in my tone when I installed this in my pedal chain.
Reliability:
I have not had it long, but I handle it pretty rough and so far so good.
Overall:
This tuner pedal is just as good as my TU-2. I bought it for a pedal board I use with my 5 string bass. I saw some reviews that said it was not good for bass but I haven't had any issues. It picks up my low B better than the TU-2.

Replaced my Boss TU-2
Quality:
Well built American pedal. Love it.
Sound:
Does not suck tone out like my Boss TU-2 did. More accurate. Maybe I had a bad TU-2 but it was off a little. The Hardwire is more precise.
Reliability:
Haven't had it long enough to find out, but I have the reverb and delay and they are holding well. They are well built and expect them to last.
Overall:
Overall, I am impressed with all the hardwire that I have. Clean, clear, and robust. Perfect pedal combination.
Finish:
This was a B-stock. But, I could not find a flaw. I looked though. Its a stomp box. We step on them. Sometimes kick them and such. Its a mute point to me.

Great Tuner - Better than the TU-3!!
Quality:
Built like a tank.
Reliability:
Just got it, so not sure.
Overall:
Now, I will say that I have owned the TU-3 recently and returned it. Had a lot of features and looked cool, but this Hardwire tuner simply gets the job done and gets it done more accurately and quickly! With the TU-3, I found myself having to re-tune harmonically after tuning to the pedal. I double checked the tuning after tuning to this pedal and BAM! Right on the nose!
Now, I've been playing for 30 years and used all different kinds of tuners and got away from rack gear to go with a pedal board. Don't want to carry a big rack anymore. I've got to say that this is one of the best tuners I've tried to date!

Top notch, can't be beat and probably the most accurate tuner I have ever used!
Reliability:
Haven't had this long but it seems well constructed and should hold up for a long long time!
Overall:
Well made and stylish!
Playability and Feel:
Let's talk controls...just a few buttons to get you set up and make your choices, these are very simple and straight forward the different modes are great and the mute function is priceless with true bypass to boot!
Finish:
This series of pedals is gorgeous if you ask me, best in the business!

Best tuner I've ever used
Quality:
Very well made. Durable construction.
Reliability:
So far so good. I don't gig so I don't beat up my pedals as badly as others but I wouldn't hesitate to take it on the road if I had the occasion to.
Overall:
Great reliable tuner. Having the flat and double flat tuning modes makes it a no brainer to tune down to Eb which is where I stay at 99% of the time.
Finish:
Looks durable and scratch/dent resistant.

Excellent, versatile tuner
Quality:
Looks to be VERY well made and as I said before, I expect it to be totally roadworthy.
Sound:
Well, it has no tone. As it should be.
Reliability:
Brand new, but judging from the rugged build and the reputation of the parent company, Digitech, I expect it to last a long time.
Overall:
High Quality. Feels solid. Super features. The strobe tuner feature is outstanding at this price point. The AMS New Day New Deal price made it even more amazing.
Playability and Feel:
Properly heavy and rugged. This is a good thing.
Tone:
These are reputed to introduce NOTHING into the sound chain and it appears to work as billed.
Finish:
The item looks great. No apparent finish flaws.
Action:
Worked as expected.

BEST $99 I EVER SPENT
Quality:
Taken out to gigs and no let down from the pedal. Spend the money and buy the adaptor, 'cause this thing drains batteries in no time flat.
Reliability:
Had it since Feb '09 and it gets kicked around a bit 'cause I don't have anything on a board, yet it won't let me down.
Overall:
It's a tuner!!! Kinda important in this business!!!
Playability and Feel:
Doesn't Apply
Tone:
It doesn't suck the tone!!! I've always had problems with the effect eating the tone before the amp. Not this one.
Finish:
I would have been happy if it was raw metal.
Action:
Let me take this moment to add that the manufacturer knew that one was going to take this one stage, with the inclusion of a velcro pad and a nice sticker that glows on dim stages. Haven't lost it yet.
