Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Like the XK-3 I replaced this with, top notch. So far no problems with it.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
I was playing the XK3 splitting the keyboard into 2 zones for right and left hand (plus kicking bass on an XPK-100). Having 2 manuals plus the extra voices and being able to use both, plus having it all under 40 lbs, is a gigger's dream.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
The controls are very intuitive, and diving into the parameters is not too much different than what I was used to on the XK. The manual helps, but be prepared to dig thru pages on the display to get to what you want.
Sound
How is the tone?
The Hammond sound is excellent. The digital Leslie is their best yet. The extra voices are usable...I was carrying my Kurzweil PC3 along with the XK, and the extra voices are no match for that, but overall they cut through the mix and are good enough that all I need to bring is the SK2. Playing through QSC K10's in stereo, the digital Leslie will fool most ears, my setup has been reduced to about half, both in weight and time.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
Have had a blast playing it both at home and on gigs. I do some wedding ceremonies, plus I accompany singers at different functions. The pianos, plus the pipe organ, not to mention the Hammond sound, this thing has everything I need.
Value
Was this item an overall good value?
I think this was a good value, no regrets about my purchase.
