One bad unit!
Quality:
The cabinet is well built. You feel like you can bang this thing around and it will still play...and still sound great.
Features:
I love how well built this cabinet is. I buy gear to be used, not to look pretty. This unit is tough and good looking as well. I'm also a huge fan of the aluminum cones. Nice low end punch, really fills out my bands mix. It's easy to hook up and play, not a lot of frills, but a solid cabinet doesn't need them!
Sound:
For only 200 watts, this thing has some volume. I just recently played a large outdoor gig with it and it had plenty of power to spare.

Tone:
Nice low end punch. It was surprising how fast the speaker response was for a 15" speaker.
Finish:
Everything on the cabinet looked great. The only issue I had was one of the locking cabinet corners was somehow busted. I called Hartke and they shot me a replacement.
Action:
This thing was ready to rock straight from the box. I took it straight from the box to an outdoor gig and performed flawlessly.

Like a rock. This cab sounds great under my Hartke XL 410.
Features:
I would add nothing. This cabhas everything it needs.
Sound:
Sounds great.A little muddy on its own, pair it with almost any other cab and you've got a great sounding rig.

The finishing job an all of my Hartke gear is choice. The corners are solid and the carpeting is flat and high quality.

as clean as it gets
Quality:
cabinet itself is almost bulletproof, been gigging out with it for two years, black covering resists everything but lint. I use this cabinet in a working bar/club band, It does not have the play once a week sitting on the couch life.
Features:
Sound:
I play a 5-string through this cab and a Hartke 410TP with an Ampeg 450 watt BR2E Head... Super Tight and clean, the bottom end that comes out of the 115XL is amazing and clean, the B string from below E down to the B comes out just like it's supposed to... I'm an Ampeg fan from way back, but I wouldn't trade Hartke cabs for any other cabs.

From Bright and clean, to smooth and Non-muddy, all with the presence that you have got to have in an inside venue and even outside.

Five String Basses Need This
Quality:
Although I bought a "Scratch and Dent", there are very few visible flaws. I had to look to find them. Very good Hartke quality, just a cut under the HyDrive series. Not built for big rooms but great for churches and smaller gigs.
Features:
You can lift this yourself. Side handles are convenient and input jacks are well protected. I like the look of Hartke speakers as well. Classic. They will probably wear well. I expect to have them for years.
Sound:
It took awhile to dial the sound in since I am running it in parallel with a Hartke Transporter 410. Once I got the Hartke HA2500 amp set up correctly, this 115XL came alive, It really shines with the G&L 2500 bass. I thought a 4 Ohm load would sound louder but it is about the same. Way more low end though.
Playability and Feel:
These boxes are moveable and tough. Built to last.
Tone:
I like the Hartke sound. It isn't Ampeg boom but it is balanced and clean with bass that I think is thick and tight. I think it will shine with other guitars although I have only played it with a band on big stereo speakers. The 115XL and 410 Transporter sound really good together.
Finish:
Except for very minor flaws, this speaker is in top condition.
Action:
No problems. Played well over an hour tonight with the amp 3/4 up and the system put out like it should.
