Powerful for it's size, and portable. I bought this to cut down on what I had to carry around to back up a vocal duet. First time I brought this amp out, I was surprised to find out that had engaged a drummer, keyboards, and harmonica player and I was a little concerned if this little amp would do the job. Needless worry, the volume never went above 5 and I was able to more than hold my own with the extra instruments. This amp has more than met my expectations
