Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The LH1000 is built like a tank. If it's anything like My other hartke's it'll last me a lifetime. I love it Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Tons of power for a great price. Why spend twice as much? Sound How is the tone? I played this baby with My RIC 4003 at a 4 hour Blues Jam. The growl was amazing. Like a Junk Yard Rotweiler. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Like all Hartke gear the LH1000 is worth more than I paid for it. I am extremely happy with it. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Simple EQ section but plenty of available tones. All I needed was my Bass and Cabinets for the perfect sound.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Seems solid. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? This thing is simple, and that is one of the best things about it. You don;t need to remember the positions of a dozen knobs and switches every time you use it. Sound How is the tone? Got the best sound ever out of my 2006 Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass (stock pickups, D'Addario Tapewound strings) with this head. It was like a freight train. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I only have tried it with Alternative Rock, but it responded well when I switched pickups. Had some nice brightness when needed, but also was super deep when needed. Very cool.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I've played this for a little over a year now, without a back up, and it's still going strong, I expect it will last a long time with no issue at all. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? best feature is by far the tube preamp, and simplicity. If I could add something, it would be a post/pre switch for the line out. To compensate, I purchased a tube DI to run to the board. Sound How is the tone? Tone is awesome, you can dial in any sound. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? can be punchy, smooth, bright or deep. It's up to you and what you wanna sound like.
