Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Despite the price, the quality of this melodica is more than decent. It comes in a nice gig bag(not a hard case). It's sturdy and the keys are smooth. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The air tube comes in extremely handy, and the case is wonderful as well. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Though the melodica didn't come with a manual, it's extremely easy to play and just mess around on. Any piano player would find it extremely easy. Occasionally a single key might seem loose and you can hear the faint sound of a spring, otherwise perfect. Sound How is its Tone? At the highest octave a few of the notes are quite shrill, otherwise the tone is just as expected and great. Action How was the action out of the box? Straight out of the box, it played beautifully, not a shrill note. It takes a while to figure out the breath needed for chords. Value Was this item an overall good value? For a base model melodica it's quite good, especially for those that generally want an interesting folk instrument just for kicks. There are a lot of other melodicas for cheaper and have more keys, but this well definitly last you a while.

The instrumet has a littel bit of everything; a case, 2 mouth pieces and is built and designed well for the price. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? I like the instrument. I recommend it. Sound How is its Tone? acceptable. Action How was the action out of the box? Keys are sluggish and click. Value Was this item an overall good value? It was a good value or the price. Nice entry level w/ min investment for the instrument.

What features would you add to this product if you could? I like the two difference mouthpieces - good options Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? I am a pianist and a wind player, so this was really easy for me to use right away and to have an easy understanding of the approach needed to play it well. If I didn't have that musical background I don't know how easy it would have been. Sound How is its Tone? Just like I expected it to be Action How was the action out of the box? Great action - no problems using it right away. Value Was this item an overall good value? It was a great value. There's a pretty big discrepancy, price wise between the 'student model' and the higher end. There's nothing in between. But this is a solid use of 35 bucks

The o-ring on my hose attachment broke almost immediately, and I can't find a replacement anywhere, but I tend to hold it up like a horn anyway. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The mouth piece is an odd design. Not particularly comfortable. I wish the mouth piece that comes with the hose attachment could also be used when playing the instrument in horn position. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? As easy to play as any keyboard instrument. Sound How is its Tone? The sound is a combination of a harmonica & a flute. Love it though! :) Action How was the action out of the box? Start playing this sucker IMMEDIATELY out of the box. Of course, I have been playing the piano for 10 years. Just as easy to play as any keyboard or piano. Value Was this item an overall good value? Yes! Sturdy instrument and case.
