I had been using some short, cheap no-name white cable to connect my laptop to my Blackstar Fly 3 Bass. The cable length was impractical and any contact could break the connection and cause a horrible buzzing sound. I sprung for the Hosa and the difference in connectivity and tone was like night and day. Worth a few bucks!
