As a guy doing bass gigs, I keep one ready, using an A/B switcher. Floorboards go wacky sometimes. My Line 6 did... It'll save your bacon.

I have three. Very useful. I use two on my Amateur radio Shack desk- N8XLQ. They are in line to my Ui24r Console routing two D104’s.
The other I keep in concert rig.
The ground lift is clean and quiet. It’s a very simple box and that is why it’s a great deal. You can record with this box too.
