I have bought Hosa guitar and mic cables in the past and have been pleased. These patch cables are a different story. One of the five has a short and is unusable. They are flimsy and I doubt would hold up if plugged and unplugged often. I am using them on a pedal board so working right now but are noisy if touched or moved.

First, they are quality cables. Some patch cables are made from low quality wire. These are not. Second, I needed one slightly longer and since these cables are not sealed I was able to take them apart and use a section of an old cable and make a longer one. Awesome.

Great Buy and Very Low Noise if any, they sound just as good as my $20/3 pk. of Livewire's and take up much less room on the board. There was another comment about noise and playing out live and unless you have the money to drop $40 on a Mogami patch cable for every pedal connection(which if I won the lottery I would certainly do) these will do a great job and save some cash for more PEDALS!!!

Good quality. Ends allow you to keep pedals close to save space. Wish they offered a mixed pack of half 6 inch, half 12 inch for longer runs.

Noisy and made flimsy, also the ends don't match up, so you have a twist in the cable when in use. I bought two sets when they were on sale, and for me they are unusable for live use.

For my needs these patch cables were excellent. I use a mini Pedaltrain (20"x7") with six pedals, which takes up the full 20 inches. The pedals are so close together the medal ends touch each other. To avoid any potential grounding/shorting issues I purchased some black liquid tape from home depot and coated both ends. It would nice if the two metal pieces were coated.
