May be a fluke but now I know why it was the deal of the day. Reliability How has it stood up over time? AMS has disappointed me in not wanting the truth told about this guitar. Actually - as I said in the first review - it plays well, just sounds terrible. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? No mids or lows. Amplified or not it does not have a full sound. Too much treble, no bass. I fingerpick and this just does not have any low bass sounds. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Finish is nice. Here is the problem: the sound is thin. No volume, no body. My wife thought I was trying to be quiet but I was trying to play normally. Thin - hard to descibe it any better. I can't speak about the reliability of this guitar as I've only owned it for a few weeks. However I do own an Ibanez acoustic electric bass for 6 years now with no problems.
