Hard to believe this is discontinued. It is terrific
Quality:
Seems to be very well made. I hope it is as dependable forever as it has been so far.
Sound:
wonderful, both acoustic or electric
Reliability:
Great for the 3 weeks I've had it.
Playability and Feel:
action is fast and comfortable. The guy that replied that the neck was "thick" didn't receive one like mine. The neck is thinner than on my 68 Tele.
Tone:
Tone seems great at most settings. I like Full and it fills the bill.
Finish:
I thought it was a little gaudy but changed my mind after hearing all the compliments on it's good looks

Ibanez A300E Quilted maple Top with Fishman Aeroblend transducer and on board mic p/u with EQ and Tu
Quality:
Top notch gold plated Grover tuners,Flamed QUILTED MAPLE TOP,BACK AND SIDES,MAPLE NECK WITH ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD AND MOTHER OF PEARL DOT INLAYS AND ROSETTE.FISHMAN AEROBLEND PREAMP W/MIC P/U ALONG WITH A BRIDGE TRANSDUCER ALONG WITH A MIC TRIM CONTROL LOCATED INSIDE THE BATT. COMPARTMENT TO ADJUST THE BALANCE BETWEEN THE 2 TO YOUR LIKEING,VERY HANDY ADJUSTMENT TO HAVE.IF YOUR LOOKING TO STEP UP TO A BETTER GUITAR BUT DONT WANT TO SPEND A $1000.00 THIS IS YOUR GUITAR,IT'S THAT GOOD.
Sound:
The clarity of this guitar is just amazing, the balance between bass, mid & treble strings is just perfection. It's arhced back no doubt leads me to believe how this guitar projects with such authority.I'm just blown away,Icant believe I got this guitar at this price
Reliability:
very well built and luxary appoinments make this guitar a real champ.I mean the thing even comes with Ivorex@ saddle and nut for better sound tranfer to the sounding board. How many guitar makers chose to use such fine componets you'll find on this guitar
Overall:
A much deserved Ten.This guitar far outshines even the Takamine EF341SC series guitars in tone, playiability and finish. It arrived with EXP coated strings which I never saw the need for, but when I playd, the stings just sang out with this nice well balanced tone and projection ican see what the facination for these strings are now.I own a Takamine EF181SC 12string guitar already, a real nice instrument with excellent tone and projection and that 12 string sound, just buetifull. This A300E is even on sale for a clearance price of $329.99,NOT BAD FOR a $799.99 GUITAR ams WAS SELLING FOR $499.99.aT $329.99 I'M CONSIDERING GETTING A 2ND ONE JUST TO HAVE AS A POSSIBLE REPLACEMENT.AS I SAYED THIS IS ACLEARANCE ITEM BECAUSE THE GUITAR IS NO LONGER GOING TO BE MADE.TOO BAD,TOO BAD THEY CANT LEAVE A GOOD THING ALONE,I MEAN THIS GUITAR EVEN HAS BALANCED XLR OUTPUTS FOR CRYIN OUT LOULD,HOWS THAT FOR THE STUDIO MUSICIAN TO HAVE ,NO MORE DIRECT BOXES HASSLE,DIRECT TO THE BOARD,AWESOME.
Playability and Feel:
Very light wieght ,a must for concert players. The neck is so easy to adapt to it was scary. The controls sit about half way back from the top of the arch and presented a very small learning curve to use them fast and efficiently
Tone:
The tone and projection will sell you on this guitar and for the price you can get it for on clearance it would be a big mistake to let this one go w/o even trying it out,you wont be disappointed with the guitar or most importantly the price,it's a steal at $329.99
Finish:
The finish of my guitar is Vintage Violen and it's just the most transparrent gloss finish to it I'm making sure nothing happens to the finish of this guitar. The first thing I get out of people when I show them my new guitar is, It has such a nice Quilted Flamed Maple Vintage Violen finish to it.It's the first thing they notice and all have agreed it has great tone and projection.
Action:
The action was just perfect out of the box,it even came deliverd in tune.THE ACTION IS EFFORTLESS AND THIS THIN NECK MAKES MAKING HARD CHORDS EVEN EASIER.

My "New Baby" is turning me into a better player and inspiring me to play my best!
Quality:
This is a very high quality guitar for the mid-range price. I heartily recommend purchasing. I shopped more than 5 stores and more than 5 websites for more than 5 weeks researching, comparing and playing them when I could because I want to make quality MP3 recordings of my Christian songs, and feel I found the absolute best guitar for me without spending a rediculous amount.
Sound:
Comparible to more expensive guitars but resonates better.
Reliability:
I've only had it about 3 weeks or so, but like it even better today.
Overall:
I called this guitar "my new baby" from the moment it arrived by UPS. Like with my adorable cat, I don't call anything or anyone my baby unless I have a deep affection for it or her.
Playability and Feel:
The neck and feel is great, much better than the elec./accoustic I already had, making it easier to play my songs, many of which have notes to play inbetween chords at some point.
Tone:
The tone is bright and snappy but smooth as well. It sounds good with or without plugging it in to my small amp.
Finish:
The finish on my baby is absolutely gorgeous! I bought the Vintage Violin finish and it's much better in person... (ie, the pics absolutely cannot do it justice!) I already knew it would be because that's what I thought when I found an A200E at a retail store too.
Action:
About how I like it - maybe very slightly high but very close to perfect right out of the box.

My Second Ibanez..Buy IT!!!! Comfortable. Fast. Tight Tones.
Quality:
As I prefaced, this is my second Ibanez in two years. Not because the other was unsatisfactory, but because I enjoy playing them so much and my former live ax was so consistent and reliable for me. For the money you're not going to find anything close to what you get from Ibanez from $400-600 range. No way! I have played and performed with Taylor's, which I love and respect, and I am just as satisfied with my new A300. The neck is fast and slim/action extremely easy throughout entire neck, and seeing I don't have the biggest hands, makes me able to comfortably play for hours...even if you have bigger hands, playability and comfort are key for performing.
Reliability:
Perfect. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I beat my guitars...in the sense of alot of use, not just plugged in, but intimate unplugged sets as well...I haven't had one single issue so far that cannot be remedied with very minor tweaks in the mixer setup...that just comes with experience. But virtually no feedback or overtone...even when pushed..if setup correctly.
Overall:
I have said a lot already, so I'm not going to elaborate anymore, other than to say...if you're looking to buy a reliable, solid, beautiful sounding, extremely easy and comfortable acoustic...that holds up to abuse that doesn't require a second mortgage or returning your fiance's engagement ring...Get'cha one. Honestly, you won't be disappointed!!!

Action:
Friggin love it!!! And the slim neck...comfortable and fast.
