I was floored by this guitar. Being a staunch nothing but Gibson owner I didn't think a much cheaper foreign made guitar could ever compare. Boy was I wrong. This axe is every bit as high quality as my Gibsons for about a third or sometimes a fifth of the price. I'm a believer now. You won't be sorry with this purchase. How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Very easy and comfortable to play. Neck is slim and very similar to a Gibson ES-137. Controls are placed perfectly with the pickup switch located down by the volume controls for very easy switching. Another plus is rubber rings around the knobs for great control. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? From a nice mellow jazz tone to a great rock and blues crunch. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish of this guitar is stunning. Mine is the violin burst and it was flawless. The binding and inlays are beautiful. Action How was the action out of the box? This one came set up perfect for me. I don't need to adjust anything.
