Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Seems like a very well made guitar .The tuners work well and hold tune and all pots work well and seem solid.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Have only owned the guitar for a few months but based on fellow musicians who have owned Ibanez instruments the track record on reliability seems excellent.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
Great product especially at this price!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The neck is not too thick. I prefer the chunky 50's neck but this one works fine.I like the action a little higher than normal so that you can hear the strings vibrate acoustically and it's quite loud unplugged!
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The tone is strong on the midrange side . When you turn the volume down a little you can really hear that woody ,warm jazz tone. The bridge pickups sound like a Gretsch to my ear but I use the neck pickup most of the time. When you blend both pickups it gives you a really nice smooth jazz type of sound.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
nice paint job . I don't see any flaws or glue stains which i've seen in the past on expensive guitars.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
I straightened the neck with the included truss rod and the action is fine with no buzzing.
