I GOT THIS GUITAR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO. WOW ITS GREAT TO PLAY AND SOUNDS GREAT. LOOKS GREAT IN PERSON.IT ALSO STAYS IN TUNE WELL,AND VERY EASY ON THE FINGERS THE SETUP WAS NICE.THE ACTION WAS LOW. PLAYED GREAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, AFTER I TUNED IT BY THE WAY LOL.ITS A GREAT GUITAR TO LEARN ON OR JUST TAKE ON TRIPS LIKE CAMPING ECT.THIS GUITAR IS FOR ANY LEVEL OF PLAYER.

My guitar,case and picks arrived the date promised. The guitar was beautiful, I've owned 1 other Ibanez acoustic and it was good, but I tuned this one and it played beautifully with ease, and I haven't played in months. Love it! Don't be afraid to get you 1 or more. I'll be buying another one for my grandson who plays. The gator case is rugged but looks good!

Excellent sound and quality for the price. Had a fret buzz but I quickly fixed it with an adjustment to the truss rod . Back in the day you couldn’t even get close to this guitar quality for less than $500 bucks.

Ive been playing guitar since I was a kid- and I’ve had many different kinds from many different price ranges. This is one of best acoustics I’ve ever owned. It has a beautiful full sound- and the stock strings are wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

Never would have dreamed a $230 guitar could sound this good. I mean this thing sounds better than a martin D17m I used to have. It has a richer woodier sweeter tone than my beloved cedar seagull. I don't know how they done it but if your on the fence you need to buy this guitar heck maybe two. Setup was good out of the box also. Think I'll buy the cutaway version next before they quit making this thing.

For the money I think you'd have a hard time finding a better guitar.Though I'm primarily a bassist I needed a new acoustic to just enjoy casual playing.I wanted something that felt comfortable after years of bass playing.I've had others but they never felt right in my hands.This however is perfect for me and the sound is big while the build quality is excellent.

I purchased this Ibanez AW54 after doing a lot of research online. The guitar arrived in great condition. Love the mahogany look. It was tuned about two keys low, but once I tuned it up, it sounded great. The tone is fantastically deep and rich for a guitar in this price range. Intonation was spot-on from the factory. Believe the reviews. This guitar is a real sleeper. You won't be disappointed. Buy one!

My guitar showed up on time and in perfect condition. It was even more beautiful than the photos and videos I've seen. The sound is full and rich and just fills the room. This guitar also just feels good in my hands ... some guitars feel overly large and cumbersome but not this one even though it's a full-size guitar. It's a good fit. Very glad I found this one.

It has terrific sound quality. While inexpensive it doesn't feel like it! This is a perfect guitar for those starting to learn or those that don't use an acoustic as their main instrument. Stays very well in tune. It fully exceeded my expectations. The only thing I guess I should note it does have a plastic film covering the pick guard. The sticker on it was tough to get off, but then realized it had that film on it and then it peeled right off. This is perfect to also have to play around where you need a basic and quality guitar. I really highly recommend this to anyone that needs a nice basic and quality guitar.

I just purchased this guitar and it showed up in tune and ready to play !!! This thing is amazing !! Huge deep sound plays way above its price range !!!! I would put it up against any acoustic under a thousand dollars and wouldn’t hesitate to call it my new favorite guitar . Excellent craftsmanship and finish . Very well made Ibanez continues to produce world class guitars at an affordable price without discounting the sound . Pretty awesome. Right out of the box it was pretty close to being in tune, and has a beautiful tone. You can really hear the low end of the notes in a rich warm way, it doesn't sound like a 200 dollar guitar at all. The wood is absolutely beautiful the open pore texture feels so nice, its not polished but quite smooth to the touch with a slightly grainy texture. In the light it almost looks holographic/golden. Holds tune quite well, truss rod is quite easy to reach and just if you want, im personally fine with factory setting. The other thing is its just a really fun guitar to play, im having a hard time putting it down despite owning others. No cons at all other than maybe the sticker but I don't care that much. I don't feel like trying to scrub it off the pickguard with soap and water so its just gonna stay. Its at least an attractive green color. The headstock has a beautiful abalone/pearl look on the Ibanez logo, the fretboard is very dark between brown and black. None of these guitars look the same all different patterns in the wood, it makes you feel really connected to the wood/instrument. Havent touched my electrics all day. Great item to add to a collection of beautiful guitars

So,I was very skeptical about buying a $200 guitar, especially one that I never played,or heard sound of. I can only say that I was in utter disbelief by how nice this guitar looked, played and sounded right out of the box. I would normally say "I just got lucky and happened to be sent a perfect Ibanez AW54 from warehouse". However, when every customer rating on this guitar is 5 stars...its evident they all got the same perfect guitar as I did. This Ibanez guitar exceeded my expectations as did AMS in how fast they processed my order and had it on my doorstep.

I tried this same guitar at a music store and it was easy to play and had a great sound. The price at the music store was $70 more than the one at American Music. I plan on purchasing my 2nd guitar from American Music Store. They have excellent service and sell only the best. There return policy is excellent, they willingly let me return a guitar that was just not for me. I then purchased the Yamaha 12 string and I’m really very happy with it.

After not playing in a few years I started getting the itch again.well I've been looking around for a decent guitar at an affordable price.Im more of an electric guy but I've been looking at this one for a good while.I finally went for it and it's everything I wanted and exspected.sounds great a looks beautiful.I highly recommend it no matter what your skill level.My only complaint would be that the shipping time isn't true.maybe they shipped it the day I ordered it but in took 3 days to receive it and I live in the USA.All in all I'm very happy with the guitar!

Been looking at this guitar for a while on AMS website.. Also did some research, and listening to this guitar on you tube..the sounds is loud and has plenty of resonate bottom end with clear highs,today when the guitar arived I looked it over and it was flawless no joke, straight out of the box it was in tune and it plays amazingly well to be a $200 guitar.. I'm very pleased, AMS is a great company they take care of their custermers with a very friendly staff, I buy all my gear here ...thanks AMS for the quick delivery and great service.

Sometimes you just know you hit that jackpot! I knew it when I tuned up my new Ibanez AW54. This guitar, for just $200 is a rock-solid bargain, and a finely-made guitar. The strings resonate perfectly with a tone that you just can't get from ordinary guitars at this price. And this is no ordinary guitar! I love the fretboard, as it feels natural in the hand. Frets were perfect. I purchased a Little Martin LXK2 last year from AMS, and that, with my other eight guitars, WAS my go-to--now the Ibanez AW54 is! I find myself choosing her over the others nearly every time. Yes, do yourself a favor and drop 2 bills on this guitar and you will not regret the purchase.

When you read other reviews here praising Ibanez' craftsmanship, believe me, it is no exaggeration! This $200 AW54 sounds closer to a $500 guitar. Truth. It came on time. When I pulled it out, I immediately fell in love with the look and feel of the instrument. It is truly a gorgeous, low-cost guitar. After a slight adjust of the strings, I played three songs: Hana, by Masaaki Kishibe; Classical Gas, Mason Williams; and Dust In The Wind, Kansas. When I play it on my trusty Yamaha, and my Peavey Composer, and my other guitars, something just seems to be missing. But the Ibanez AW54 picked it up and ran with it! The guitar is nearly perfect, save for lowering the bridge and nut a bit. But it still plays perfectly as is. Bass rings out well, shaping the mids and highs, complementing fingerstyle well. I strummed quick chord changes and each note was right there in your face. I suggest you give this fantastic instrument a shot. What have you got to lose? Ibanez knows what it's doing!

I've owned many high end acoustics and this is right there with them. Build quality in this 200 dollar guitar is insane. I don't know how they did it at this price. It has a warm and bright robust sound. Action is right where it should be. Straight neck and smooth frets. If somebody handed this guitar to me blind folded and ask me how much do I think it costs I would say 1000 ? Or more. Use a light .60 mm pick for best results. Great tone and a extremely well made guitar. I still can't believe I only paid 200. Buy this model before it's gone.... Thanks AMS

The Ibanez AW54 that I received is very well made and sounds incredible. It stays in tune perfectly and the tone rings out loud and clear. The action and feel of the guitar are very comfortable and the overall build quality is excellent. At an entry-level price point, the AW54 easily offers the same value as more expensive models.
Bottom Line: It's a keeper!
