Product Rating Product Review I love this bass, it's comfortable to play, the action is super smooth, the tone is great, it's heavy enough that it doesn't feel like a cheap bass, but it's not so heavy that it breaks your back. I love all the features on it, the EQ knobs actually make a significant difference in the way it sounds and can be used to get a wide variety of tones depending on your personal preference and playing style. I love the monorail bridge, the neck through construction, I love the natural wood finish, it has a lot of style as well as function. Best bass I have ever owned. It came with Elixir strings on it, I had never tried that brand before, but they sound great! I'm planning on sticking to Elixir when it comes time to change them. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a great 6 string bass.

Product Review Feels and sounds great. Quality is good for the price. Comparable to the "iron label" guitars in terms of fit and finish. I own several from this factory and like this one, they all have slight bumps/dips in the neck carve and some rushed fretwork. They seem to really rush to finish these things and don't pay much attention to fine details. Overall nothing bad and it is still plays better than anything in the price range that I have tried. The sound is really good. I was planning to change the pickups before I got it but I think I will keep them. This is the newer version with the switch and 3 band eq. The older version had different pickups and eq so any bad reviews may no longer be relevant. These have excellent clarity and a broad tonal range.

Ibanez you all done a great job building this piece of art. U shape body makes it easy to get them high notes even for the left handed guys like me that play upside down! Sounds good the Tone can be changed to how you like just play with the controls. Nice, smooth, fast neck-perfect neck size for big hands! Great Tone Looks just as good as the High Dollar Basses such as Ken Smith, Roscoe just to name a few. Set up ready to play str8 out the box!
