Overall Your general opinion of this product. I have played this guitar for several months and I think it is an amazing guitar. It is perfect for the style of music that I play which is metal/hardcore...like As I Lay Dying or Killswitch Engage. This guitar is, in my opinion, the perfect weight and has amazing playability through the neck; its like my fingers just glide across the neck with perfection. Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Absolutely smooth and precise playability...lets you play like a pro! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone was a perfect mix of everything: Bright, clean highs with amazing sustain. Amazing bottom end that had great clarity and a very well mixed mid tone that came through the signal like Heaven in my ears. Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone was a perfect mix of everything: Bright, clean highs with amazing sustain during solos. Awesome bottom end that had great clarity and mids that cut through the mix like heaven in my ears. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? it was beautiful. Still looks that way too! Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very well made and worht every cent Reliability How has it stood up over time? Very well built. I spent 30 minutes adjusting the neck and intonation. Added a spring to the tremelo and tightend it all up. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Doesn't weigh a ton, easy to play, and harmonics all over the place with a driving sound. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is slim and fast but a little broader than what I was used to. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Although not as responsive as my Joe Satriani signature, this guitar has a lot of tones that will please. Play with the volume and tone controls and find out. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I love the Jewel Blue. Action How was the action out of the box? I had to lower the action a little bit and do some adjusting out of the box, but no big deal.
