A nice little guitar if....
What is your opinion of this product?
My Gio Mikro has a beautiful black finish.I could not find any blemish on it. I suspected that it was a return due to unplayability. I could not get the notes at the first fret of the first and second strings. They were F# and C# at both the first and second frets. The usual action/intonation/truss rod adjustments accomplished nothing. The fix? I replaced the factory .009-.042 strings with D'Addario EXL115 medium guage .011-.049 strings. The guitar responded well to this. The bad spots and fret buzzes went away and it STAYS IN TUNE. I now enjoy playing it daily. The manual that comes with the guitar lists .009-.042 as the manufacturer-recommended guage for this guitar, so I don't know if there are any warranty issues. All I know is that the string change made a huge improvement.
