General What is your overall opinion of this product? I've had this bass for 8 years-it needed some maintenence to the electrical innards last year but other than that has been perfect! I had some issues with the electronics not wanting to work last year, but when I initially purchased it I was learning so I never did any maintenance on it-but it took seven years to be a problem! Features Are the features on the product what you were expecting? What are your favorite features? The knobs are great-the battery door is almost impossible to get off though, but the battery usually lasts for a ridiculously long time so it hasn't been too big of an issue. Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It's exactly the weight you'd expect out of a four string bass Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Still in excellent condition, and this thing has been played HARD and put through all sorts of tough atmospheres Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? Exceptional quality for it's price-I learned to play on this and eventually toured with it, it still gets played on a regular basis and continues to play well
