Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
This guitar is a very well made machine. I had a problem with my jack however, it just would not hold my cord out of the box. Took the jack apart and squeezed the clamp together and it's perfect.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
The strings that it came with didn't last very long at all. I put on some Ernie Ball Power Slinkys, tuned to drop D and it's kicking good and hard again.

Your general opinion of this product.
For a starter guitar, this one can't be beat in my opinion. I now prefer to have a tone knob and a seperate volume knob for each PU to get the different sounds, but to start out, this is the one. I had to replace the tuner, but the amp gets you the sounds you need no matter what your genre preferance is. This guitar will help you learn all you need to know. Adjustments, customization, repair, and playing. Mine came with a DVD with Paul Gilbert doing a general first lesson. Can't go wrong with that!!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
This was my first guitar, so I really didn't know better, but I now know that this guitar has some weight to it. It seems a little heavier than my Dean ML. The unfinished neck makes it a little slow and difficult to slide up and down, beside that, the playability of this guitar is very good. I'd take this guitar to gigs, but due to the weight and the single volume knob, it would not be my primary axe. Drop D machine maybe.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
This thing has a tone that surprised me. I play rock/metal and the pick ups needed to be adjusted after I figured that out to get the sustain I was looking for
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I LOVE THE FLAT CAMO PAINT!!!!

They have a good feel to them, I was surprised at how well they play when comparing them to my gutar, (my main guitar is an Ibanez RG3550).

Nice neck for small hands. I have slim fingers but small hands and is so much easier to play than the acoustic guitar. Controls are very accessible
