Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Ibanez really did great on this one, very great. Plays like a more expensive guitar.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Just plug and play! Very secure knobs, and input,as well as tuners.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
But it is true. Great overall guitar, especially for the price. I compared it to an American Tele, and prefer the jtk30!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The neck is comparable to a Tele, and has a very comfortable feel. Everything is very easy to reach to obtain a sound really quick.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
It is very easy to dial in many tones with this guitar. I play all kinds of music from blues to metal. surprisingly you can get a good scooped metal sound! haha
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish is great. Looks better in person than the photos on the ibanez site. Real unique look.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action on this guitar is incredible. Its like they actually spent time at the factory setting up intonation and string hieght.

Built extremely well .I own a Squier Vintage 50's Vibe Tele ,and the Ibanez is much nicer ,and has a better feel .The Squier is quite impressive ,but more expensive by $50.00 ,and the Ibanez is truly a better guitar in my opinion .I don't endorse any Guitar Companies ,so this is a very unbiased ,truthful opinion .
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I have only had my baby about a week ,but the construction is very solid ,and I cannot forsee any problems in the future .I banez is a customer friendly company ,and you have the backing of AMS on top of it .You can't go wrong there.

Your general opinion of this product.
The Ibanez Jet King has been greatly improved since the earliest models of years ago .I am blown away by the vibe ,tone, looks, and overall playability .I have been rather infactuated with this axe for a while and I am so happy I purchased it from AMS.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Well balanced and very comfortable to play .This is NOT a wizard neck (very thin ) ,but not at all chunky .It is not super light because of the slab ,contoured mahogany body .The hardware is much better than you could expect .A very playable axe you don't want to keep playing and not put down.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The King can give yiu a bright snappy sound ,but I really like the mellower sounds .I guess it is a sort of cross between a regular single coil ,and a P-90 .As I said you can coax a palette of of tones out of her .IMPRESSIVE to the max.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
My guitar is called Turgouise ,but it is really a surf green color ,very well done ,and extremely cool .It is a beautiful guitar and the pictures don't do her justice .
Action
How was the action out of the box?
I have played for 50+ years ,since I was 11 ,I am 61 now ,and I would say the action is medium heighth .Easy enough to barre along the way down the fret board ,but still suitable for pinky slide playing if you desire .It could be lowered a bit ,but I felt it was unnecessary .
