Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very well made.Really nice fit and finish with nice attention to detail. Finish is as durable as it is beautiful.The pics don't do it justice!Wouldn't hesitate to take it and play it anywhere at any time.My friend got his hands on it to "help me out" and tune it up for me.I had no idea he was guitarded when I agreed to let him "help me".So he puts an electronic tuner on the head and starts turning keys.He brings it to me about a half an hour later and says "Here you go.All tuned and ready to go.I broke a couple of strings while I was tuning it and and had to replace them.That's why it took me so long.Sorry man." I just said "That's OK.Happens to us all sometimes." He handed me my guitar and I instantly knew something was very wrong because the strings were waaay too tight!!!Then I noticed the bottom of the bridge is raised up off the body!!! My "helper" had apparently tuned it to the correct notes,problem was he was 2 octaves high!Some guitars would b dun.A bit o glue my Ibnz is gr8! Reliability How has it stood up over time? Best acoustic available in AND somewhat above it's price range. Also a very attractive guitar that looks much more expensive than it is. Plays wonderfully right out of the box! At least mine did. A lot of "LUCK OF THE DRAW" involved when buying low to mid priced, imported guitars online. Thats just the way it is. Your odds improve greatly though when you are getting an Ibanez. Just another fact. Overall opinion: SUPERB INSTRUMENT FOR THE $$$. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? LOW ACTION, PERFECT SIZE NECK AND WONDERFULLY FINISHED FRETS MAKE IT SO EFFORTLESS TO FRET THAT IT EVEN LETS A HACK LIKE ME SOUND LIKE I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING.Plays and feels like it was custom made just for me!!! Not heavy but not as light as a Jasmine(Takamine). Feels perfect. Everyone who plays it says the same thing. I cant tell you how many offers to buy it I have turned down. I've been offered more than retail for it!! I won't sell it. They can order one like I did.They must think this one is a fluke. Its not a fluke! Its an Ibanez!! I've never had a bad Ibanez guitar. Even the lowest priced models are great. Had a GSA60 Gio series electric that played as nice as my brother in law's $1,000 ESP VIPER. I dropped some Duncans in it, but that's it. It put his $1K Viper to shame. He even admitted it!!! Pretty much had to. Sold it to him so he would stop whining. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Anything and everything you want it to be. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? You can shave in it!!! The shine is really that nice and deep looking!! I've got several years of laying custom paint on cars under my belt so I know a really nice finish when I see one. This guitar is as slick as they get when it comes to glossy finishes. Plus it's much more durable than most. You won't be disappointed with it. I promise!! Action How was the action out of the box? Best action that I personally have ever seen on any acoustic right out of the box. It usually takes me hours of work to get one anywhere close to being as nice and playable as this Ibanez was out of the box!!! I was extremely pleased and to be honest, a bit shocked!! For an acoustic in this price range (and higher) to have action this low and to be so playable from the box is unheard of!! Better and lower than some overpriced electrics I've played in music store.
