Product Review Right out of the case the RG652AHM is an extremely well built, great playing option for anyone seeking a serious Pro guitar for under $2000. I have been a huge fan of Ibanez for many years, and I really regret having sold my original JPM model a number of years back. I looked across the Ibanez line and found the 652AHM is largely the same (or very similar) model with more of a traditional Wizard style neck, so I decided to get one and see. Bingo, lol.. The guitar has an almost identical feel, apart from the slightly thinner neck profile, which I personally tend to prefer. The DiMarzio pickups are great for everything from Blues to Fusion, and of course hard rock and metal. The bridge is smooth, the manufacture is spotless, mine in the white finish is really pretty and looks great. The frets are pro all the way, super clean and well rounded. I highly recommend this guitar for anyone in the market interested in a professional grade Ibanez 6 string.. Carpe Diem...

Product Review Got mine as a minor blemish item volume knob wont shut off turn all way down and still hear it pick scratches and dings on neck like it got proped up against a desk also missing papers and stuff in case just came with a trem bar. Had i known all this id just paid the extra 250$ for brand new one i assumed minor blemish was a scratch or 2 not missing items and busted controls. I kept it cause it plays so good got new volume pot. But dont buy minor blemish off here it means pre owned missing stuff. Maybe label it as pre owned not mislead people. Still worth the 1375$ its a beast of guitar for the price.

Product Review Japanese made guitars are just astonishingly beautiful and well crafted. Tone Zone pickup sounds good for all styles of music. Wizard neck is exceptionally thin/flat/and fast, might not be for everyone as there's zero meat to the neck but it does feel great. Birdseye maple fretboard is amazing looking. Overall awesome guitar.

Product Review OK I finally did it. I pulled the trigger on a MIJ RG Always wondered what the hype was about and why so many progressive players use MIJ Ibanez guitars. Well now I know! An absolutely monster guitar! Fit ands finish are some of the best I've seen. My main axe now is a 1998 Parker Nitefly that I absolutely love but has too many electrical issues. That may be going up for sale now. This RG is a seriously monster guitar! Got a discounted blemished one and it's flawless! AMS how do you do it!

Product Review This guitar is Unbelievable! I could not be happier....it’s Amazing ! The Fretboard is so hot I just hate putting it down. My salesman at American Musical Supply was great and I will be a return customer. My Guitar weighs 8 pounds, so it’s perfect. Please buy this model, it’s so classy and dangerous at the same time.

Product Review Slick paint job, low action right out of the box, hot DiMarzio pickups that are as loud as EMGs - wired to obtain distinctly different sounds, the Edge tremolo system has micro adjusters that are smoother than those on a Floyd Rose, and a Wizard neck - one of the thinest on the market. To top it off, Ibanez throws in a hard case that fits the RG like a glove.

Product Review I had been eyeing this guitar for along time. When I saw a discount on a blemished model I couldn't pass it up. I have to find the blemish by the way. The antique white and birds eye maple fret board are stunning. You really can't show the beauty in pictures IMO. The neck is super fast and the tone is amazing. It is by far my favorite guitar in my collection. I wish my playing ability was worthy of such an amazing instrument!

Product Review This is maybe the best value in higher end electric guitars. I got the Nebula Green Burst and it is gorgeous. Kind of a bluish green. It was meticulously set up and finished and only required tuning! I know Ibanez electrics are synonymous with shredders but these pickups are awesome sounding. I have a Gibson Les Paul with the 490/498 humbuckers and I actually like the sound of the DiMarzios on the Ibanez better. I’m sure someone who knows how to shred would like the neck on this guitar but I play blues rock and some progressive rock and it suits me fine! It plays much easier than my Les Paul and the tremolo is great. Dive bomb away and it will stay in tune. The Japanese luthiers take their work very seriously and it shows in this guitar. Great fit and finish through out. One of the nicest cases I’ve seen as well. I highly recommend this guitar and so glad my wife purchased it for me as a gift!!

Product Review I was looking for a guitar to replace a custom I had lost to a Pawn Shop. I was going through Jackson and Charvel. I just couldn't see myself paying a guitar that came with a less inferior tremolo than a Original Floyd. When Ibanez came out with the Prestige that came with the Original Edge Tremolo that Via and Satriani still use today; I abuse the heck out of my tremolos so I need something that's going to last for years to come. I had purchased the Antique White color. It was a birthday gift to myself back in May. I also love the Norton and a Tone Zone that came stocked, I like how in the second position flips the neck pick up into a phase voicing. Third position both are on and forth is split. Makes this guitar very versatile, can go from Blues to Metal and everything in between. The neck is fast and smooth, its also comfortable for barre chords and open positions, the jumbo frets are a ease if your like me that have big hands and fat fingers. Only thing I had to purchase was strap locks; I wish they came installed. If you know Ibanez and looking for a versatile guitar or just a metal guy like me this guitar wont disappoint. It can take a beating just like a Timex...lol.It comes out of the box ready to play. I didn't have to do any type of setup. I like the strings close to the fret as possible. Only thing I had to do was send it back after it had settled the frets were starting to get exposed and started to feel sharp. Other then that, its awesome guitar. I hope this helps have a good day.

Product Review I researched a lot and even purchased a Schecter C-1 FR SLS Elite with Fluence and Sustainiac pickups. Nice guitar but it just didn't do it for me. My next try was the Ibanez Prestige RG652AHM. It came in a very nice Ibanez case and when I opened it I was totally impressed with the finish(mine is the Nebula Green Burst). Took it out and checked it thoroughly- no flaws and excellent craftsmanship. Set up seems very good and after tuning it it played great The Ibanez tremelo bridge stays in tune very well. If anyone knocks the tuning on this guitar they probably aren't tuning it correctly, There are plenty of videos on YouTube showing how to tune an FR style tremelo guitar, I know because I had to use one myself. Once you have it tuned correctly it will not go out of tune!! The fret dressing is perfect, electronics work great, the Air Norton and Tone Zone pickups sound like USA Gibson humbuckers on steroids- they are passive but pack a big punch from clean to heavy. Very glad I ended up with this instead of the Schecter. Price was reasonable for a very nice Japanese crafted Ibanez.

Product Review Just bought this addition to my collection which includes 11 companions currently on the rack. This Japanese made RG652AHM plays as good or better then most, including my ESP E11 M11 which is also made in Japan and is of the same build quality of any of my American Standard, Tele and Strat both with HH AND HSS pickups, not even a reason to comparing to my Les Paul Studio although it’s a fn great guitar for different reasons. The neck and feet job is flawless to say the least. I pretty much play metal/punk but this guitar can do it all. Pickups can handle whatever you throw at em although I play drop D tuning distorted through a Fulltone OCD, an Orange Two Stoke, Boss DS1, Cry Baby and a POS Noise Killer I bought for like $10 bucks at a garage sale 15 yrs ago played through a Marshal DSL 40C.... anyway, once I did a quick setup to handle the tuning and this thing is flawless, fast and fun..... I can’t stop myself from picking it up plugging it in and pissing off the neighbors. This is my first Ibanez but I am impressed by the Prestige series and the quality of the craftsmanship, and I’m kinda picky.

Classic RG series by Ibanez. Great super thin neck!

Product Review The only thing I'm not liking is that Ibanez cut back on the manufacturing of their RG series to include EMG pickups. Had to settle, more or less for these Dimarzio, which have a little more low bass tone than I'm used to in comparison to the EMG 81s. Still a wonderful guitar and compliments my style of playing. Ibanez RG is still the leading company in manufacturing guitars for metal players with the wizard necks ???

Product Review What can I say? This is guitar is phenomenal! I’ve owned many different guitars but this one sure takes the win when it comes to build and quality! For once I didn’t have to adjust the pickup height or action. The pickups were setup balanced and the tones out of each position are quite amazing! This guitar left such a great impression on me that I had to get a second one! The photos of these guitars don’t even do it justice! Grab one and see for yourself! Don’t let the price tag scare you it will definitely be worth every penny!

Product Review Aside from American Musical being the best retail for availability on high end equipment, this guitar is pretty much everything I expected. The guitar has a very cool finish to it, the neck is super fast and comfortable, the tremolo is amazing, and its case is tip top quality! The way they set this instrument is really good too! I wouldn't want to spend my money on anything else.
