The guitar's craftsmanship is on par with The Ibanez Prestige guitars.I have read that some of the Japanese luthiers oversee the Premium Factory in Indonesia.So it is very well made to great detail all the way down to the fret edges to awsome paint job. Reliability How has it stood up over time? The guitar will last along time do to Awsome craftsmanship. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Can't ask for better than this. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Not too heavy but not as light as Ibanez "S" series. the controls are great.high end parts. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The Dimarzio/IBZ pickups are great. Neck pickup is bright sounding. the bridge is warmer sounding.they are made in NY factory. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Paint job is awsome.nice ninja black color.The Ibanez logo is made out of Abolone and the same for Dot markers. Action How was the action out of the box? The action was perfect. but had to re-adjust for ernie ball colbalt 10's.

Reliability How has it stood up over time? Haven't had it very long but so far no problems. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This guitar is amazing for the price, it plays just as well as any prestige. This is my main guitar, I'm in a touring band and this thing is awesome you feel like you get every bit of what you paid for and then some. Tuning stablity and the quality of a guitar like this is hard to come by and Ibanez did a great job on all fronts with this model. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? Controls are perfectly placed for me and don't get hit while playing. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? It has a very thick tone and the pickups are fairly hot. It's very tight sounding and punchy low end. The highs are clear but not too bright. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? No flaws at all in the paint. The black is pretty classic looking. Action How was the action out of the box? Great for standard tuning out of the box. I play in drop C and after adjusting the spring tension I only had to make a small truss rod adjustment to get it perfect. The intonation was also very good right out of the box.
