Seems made well. No issues after a month of ownership and 2 gigs.

How has it stood up over time?
Best Ibanez I've ever owned

Your general opinion of this product.
The Cobalt Blue finish looks AMAZING on stage in pictures and video.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
My lightest guitar, action is not the quickest avaiable but I can play fast intricate solo's just fine. However when I changed strings the first time it threw everything out of wack.. I had to fix the intonnation, string height and tremelo level. It took me over an hour to get it playing right but it's back.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
I have an EVO pickup in my Jackson and these DiMarzio's are not that.. They are better than most like blow away the V Ibanez pickups but I will probably upgrade to EVO's or Super Distortions.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish is amazing.. and I mean amazing.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action out of the box was perfect. It was in tune and played well.. However it would have been nice to know what strings they used because when I went to my ernie ball 9's it screwed everything up.

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Excellent product ... my only gripe would be that it seems to detune to easily, but that could be the strings or the fact that I bend the hell out of the strings
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
after 6 weeks it's still great.

It plays great - the perfect neck for my big hands
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Given that there are 5 pick-up positions, you can get any sound you want.

Guitar seems pretty solid, but I have only had it a few days... I'll let you know in a few months. Let's put it this way... I'll more than likely be buying the Liquid Inferno model within a few months.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Time will tell.

This is not the first Ibanez I have owned, so I knew it would be a quality product! I love this guitar!!! I made a couple small adjustments out of the box and this lady is as smooth as butter!!! Also, I am THOROUGHLY impressed with the Floyd Rose on this guitar. Ibanez has taken FR technology to the next level. I'm in love!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The neck is flat and fast, just the way I like it. Wide radius (400mm) is the only way for me. The whammy can get in the way of the controls a bit, but this is a small thing compared to my overall satisfaction.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Pickups are nice and chunky when needed and really sing during leads. Pickups are harmonically rich, nice and bright as well.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish is really lovely. I started out with the High Voltage Violet (my lady saw it and loved it). Beautiful quilted top and headstock... Nice all around!
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action was very good out of the box, but since I like a very low action I made a bit of adjustment... didn't take much. Very easy to do, actually.

Quality seems pretty good to me.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've own other Ibanez guitars and they are very reliable.

Pretty awesome guitar for the price paid.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The guitar is very fun to play. The neck is comfortable but not as comfortable as an RG 550.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Same opinion as sound. I'll be ordering new pickups soon.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish look beautiful. Although you can see that there are some parts of the body that the paint is not perfect, i.e. the black paint under the back plate.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action was ok. But, as soon as I removed the zero point system so that my tremolo would float the action got worse. However, I was able to adjust it to my liking after a couple of minutes.
