Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I definitely expect this to hold up for quite a while. It doesn't look like Ibanez cut any corners on this one. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Just got it, but Ibanez makes some quality stuff and everything feels rock solid here. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Fantastic guitar...super thin and contoured, fast neck, quality hardware and pretty good stock pickups. For the price, you cannot beat this, and the bridge is phenomenal. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It's actually a lot heavier than I expected, but in a good, high quality way. The body is super thin and comfortable, and definitely no neck dive here. The wizard II is a great neck...super fast across the board, and all the fret edges were smooth. Not too shabby abalone either! The recessed jack is sleek and snug. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Pretty bright with some nice midrange...I'm not sold on the pickups yet, but I'll give it some time before swapping them out. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Awesome quilted top...definitely looks better than how it is priced. The stock pics DO NOT do it justice!!! Action How was the action out of the box? The setup was unbelievable...intonation was perfect, action was great across the board. Even the ZR wheel was set pretty accurately for the trem angle.

Overall Your general opinion of this product. You have to see it to believe it. That was my first impression. It really is a Beautiful Guitar.This is my 3rd Ibanez out of 18 Guitars and I must admit they seem to be my favorites. Ibanez really seems to know how to do it right. The overall quality, construction and eye appeal compete with anything I own and I have my share of High priced Guitars. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? This Guitar plays fast and Clean.. Or Fast and dirty.....The neck is Killer. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? These pickups are much better than I was once willing to give them credit for. I'm not sure I'll change a thing ever... Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The Finish is Perfect.. I mean really pristine... Action How was the action out of the box? This Baby was ready to go out of the Box... I did need to tune it, but Gezzzz.. I'm not complaining.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Extremely well made. Ibanez makes really nice instruments for really great prices. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Brand new. Too soon to tell. My other Ibanezs are 4 - 5 years old and they still look and play like they were brand new. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This is a beautiful instrument. Fit, finish is top notch. I own 2 guitars that cost considerably more and this Ibanez is at least as good. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Like all S models, the guitar is very light and super fast. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone is perfect for Metal and Hard Rock. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? This is a beautiful instrument. Flawless. Action How was the action out of the box? The action was nice and low. Perfectly setup for a lead instrument.

Overall Your general opinion of this product. After buying this guitar, I had it set-up by a professional who did touch-up work on the nut and frets ($100). Now the thing plays beautifully - no fret buzz, good intonation, and great action. It's a fast neck, and it's very easy to play. My only concern at this point is the tone. I'm getting some great clean sounds, but the distortion is relatively weak. I had, however, planned on replacing the pick-ups, so this is not an unforeseen disappointment. When all is said and done, I'll have a top-tier guitar for under $1,000. Great deal. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck?
