Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The guitar looks and feels very well made. Im surprised Ibanez don't ask a higher price for it. I wish Ibanez would of dressed off the edge of the frets better. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I only owned it 3 weeks. I believe it will treat me well. General Your general opinion of this product. Lots and Lots of bang for your buck!!! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is thin and fast. The whole guitar is very light, and I am use to playing les pauls, so this is a treat for me. I can see myself playing this guitar more than my les paul at gigs. All the controls are easey to use, and get to very quickly. The trem is very nice, you can do alot of divebombing and it wont go out of tune. Very fast and easy to re-string. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? For passive pick ups I am very impressed. Bridge pickup screams with no effort. The neck pickup has a nice sustaining singing tone. The single coil is nice to. I can get a pretty good strat sound with the 5way switch in the secound position from the bridge. Pinch harmonics are realy easy to get, and pickups can sound bell tone clean. Im keeping these pickups. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I love the paint (Blue Burst). Looks like a first class paint job, like you would expect on higher priced guitars. Action How was the action out of the box? It had 9gauge D'Addario strings on it with very low action when I recieved it. I put 10gauge D'Addario strings on it and tuned it down a whole step, and the action stayed the same, low just how I like it.
Rock star Quality!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Everything about this guitar seems well made with attention to detail! Reliability How has it stood up over time? So far so good! General Your general opinion of this product. I really like the guitar, the color is not nearly as "blue" as the stock photos, more purple as others have noted, great quilt though! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck feels good, the fret work was fine, not the best but very good.. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The Stock pick ups have a very good tone overall, I was a bit surprised, pleasantly though, I had originally planned to swap them all out but now I think I am leaving them alone! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The paint work overall was fantastic but as I and others have noted the Blue is not the same in person, much more purple. Action How was the action out of the box? The action was fine although I did lower it just a touch for my tastes!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? never had any problems with it. Reliability How has it stood up over time? sold it off a while back but never had any problems with it for the 2 years I had it. General Your general opinion of this product. great sounding guitar for what it costs. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? very thin neck, fast to play, if anything faster than I expected. If you like a les paul neck this isnt for you Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? clean tones were dark, deep, and clear, and with some distortion it had a heavy chunky sound great for any style of rock. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? great looking, almost sparkling Action How was the action out of the box? right on the next, very fast.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? VERY well made instrument. Couldn't be happier with it. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I haven't had for a really long time and I treat my guitars like newborn babies so she'll be with with me for a long, long time. General Your general opinion of this product. Beautiful guitar! An absolute joy to play. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Took a little time to get used to the neck width (I'd been playing my Strat pretty regularly) but the neck and body are very comfortable. Tone and Volume are easily accessible and the output jack placement is genius. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Again, I was very pleasantly surprised by the Infinity pickups. I will be switching to DiMarzios soon but these pickups sound really good for stocks. Neck pickup could be a little more defined, though. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The pictures don't do it justice. Action How was the action out of the box? Action's great! Played well, right out of the box.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This feels to be a quality made instrument. Other than the fret issue, this is a finely made guitar Reliability How has it stood up over time? Good question. Your guess is as good as mine. Feels solid. General Your general opinion of this product. Got this through AMS. Shipped quickly. As always, AMS is fantastic to deal with. The guitar itself is very nice. Well made but finishing touches could be better. More on that later. Overall, very impressed for the price. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is fast. A little bit to get used to. Very thin. I'm used to a Strat style neck so this is a little funky feeling. Flatter radius than I am used to but makes bending strings nice. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? This thing gets very nice Strat type chimey sounds as well as really good performance from the straight up humbucking settings. As I stated before, definitely holding off on changing out these pickups. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish is awesome. It is quite a bit darker than in the pictures. In dimmer light, it almost looks purple. In my eyes, this thing is gorgeous. Action How was the action out of the box? Action was actually quite good out of the box. Where I have a problem is the finishing of the frets. This has been indicative of all manufacturers in this price range, ie.. Schecter, ESP, Fernandes, etc. The frets hang over the binding. They are not properly beveled. I will perform this myself but if you don't know what you're doing, you will probably have to take it to a shop that can properly dress the frets. Other than that, the action is very low, with very little fret buzz. Proper relief in the neck out of the box. Pickups did not need adjustment (unusual). Overall, again, very impressive.
