The radius on the neck is small and tight, allowing my fingers to easily reach all the strings, much easier than the SR200. Ive only had for about a week, so Im still reviewing all the functions it has. But since it fits so well in my hand and is such an enjoy to play, I wont be putting it down soon. Plus the color just Rocks !! You gotta get one quick !

My daughter decided she wanted to learn to play bass this year. I got this for her for Christmas and it was so much more beautiful in person. You can feel the quality of the build when you pick it up and I can’t wait to see her face when she opens it Christmas morning. I’m so grateful that American Musical gave the options for payments so I could afford this for her. I plugged it in to test it out and was able to produce a great sound and I don’t even play bass (I’m a drummer). Ibanez does not disappoint.

This is a whole lot of bass for the price. The tuners feel really good and are extremely stable. Pickup tone is great, and the eq gives good tone variety. This bass looks and sounds great, and plays easily.

Anyone looking for a bass should first look at the SR300. The neck is thin and easy to play. It’s an active bass with great features and tones. Shopping with AMS was great. I selected a payment plan and free shipping and my bass was here the next day. Great over all experience.

This is my first bass, I have played an Epiphone Thuderbird and the Schecter Omen 4, easy to play and it has a pretty deep voice. Also the band EQ with a volume comtrol.for each humbucker. Awesome bass

I love my Ibanez SR300E bass. It is balanced and feels great to play. Sounds great too. I am new to playing bass and I read reviews from fellow players. They were right, an excellent investment.
The cable technician made a comment about how nice it is when he was installing my Internet service today.

This one just wasn’t for me. I was hoping based on my past experience with Ibanez I would like it. I did not. Not because of the tones I was getting. Just over all feel not what I’m used to. Neck was very long and narrow, very light which I though j was going to like but again just too light for my taste. I did end up returning. Again not because of the tones just over all feel not for me.

This bass has the most features for the price compared to all the other brands. I did alot of research before I pulled the trigger on this bass. Yes, it did have some fret buzz, but that can be fixed. It did have a small paint chip at the one pickup, but AMS knocked some $$ off for me. If it didn't have the paint chip and fret buzz I would have rated this 5 stars. I am very happy with this bass. Oh yeah you should grab the ibanez powerpad 541 gigbag. it fits this bass well.

I got the Charred Champagne Burst and this bass is BEAUTIFUL, the neck feel is incredible and the sheer amount of tonal variety is astounding.

I’ve wanted a double humbucker Ibanez bass for a long time and this one fit the bill! The soapbar pickup are cool but these humbuckers have that warmer sound I like. It is very light. I was worried that it would sound that great but I was wrong. Very happy. The neck is great.

Although not a higher priced bass that doesn't mean it's less playable or tone capable than its more expensive siblings.
The coil tap switch lets you choose 3 different configurations and combined with the 3 band EQ controls you can get a very wide array of sounds with this bass.
There are some "signature sounds" that I haven't been able to reproduce with my other basses that this one will such as Fender J and PJ combinations.

Ibanez delivers every time. The EQ on this bass is off the chain. The action out of the box is great. The sound is nice and warm but can get punchy if needed. Lightweight and very comfotable neck make this thing great for a beginnerwhile also making a great small gig or practice bass for a professional. I would recommend this bass for anyone looking for an awesome value.

this bass kicks some serious ass for the money, I'm so happy with the purchase. I am able to get so many tones with only one bass, no matter the style of music, my only con is how much 9v batteries it goes thru, but I got rechargeable 9v batteries and voila. the look and feel are second to none, I got mine on weathered black and it rocks. can't recommend this bass enough

I actually have quite a lot to say lol.
First off for 350 bucks, its out performing a slew of basses in low price, mid, and custom range territory. Background: I've owned or used extensively Dignwalls, Music Man, Fenders etc.
Where did my search start looking for a bang for the buck bass? It began mainly with tracking DI signal straight to interface for home studio purposes.
For software I use Neural DSP or Native Helix Darkglass emulations. I never could get these plugins to respond great for bass like you would hear on most clips. (Metal Enthusiast Tone lol) I would usually get a HUGE spike of about 6-12db of 200-400hz and everything else lacking. This was taking not only hours of mixing to get bass to sit right in a mix but lots of extra CPU processing to fix things. It came in the mail today and I opened the box to not only being perfectly in tune, but super low action and fast play-ability;excellent intonation.
When I plugged it in, I wasn't quite happy yet.. Then I realized from the factory all the knobs are set to 100% full bass mids treb at max. So i reset all the controls at unity 0db and loaded up all the presets that gave me a huge headache to put this thing through its paces.
For this it was Helix Native with a Comp, Darkglass (obsidian drive) Ampeg stack and a Ownhammer Cab response. I bypassed everything but the cab and head and noticed a clarity and chime very piano like. This is a good start. Kicked on the Comp to gain that control and sustain then Activated the Darkglass. Boom, there it was! Played with the eq some and I came up with about 5 to 10 snapshots of very useful bass tones in about 30 minutes. Im not going to say this thing is better than a Dingwall but I would call this a Benchmark bass. Any bass I play that cost more than this has alot to measure up to. I gave up on Ibanez for awhile, Ive owned several Prestige guitars as well and kinda lost faith for awhile. But I can tell you every bass player should have at least one of these in your arsenal. Also thank you AMS for having this in stock and great service. A lot of retailers are running out of these.

I am a beginner bass player and got this for the price and reviews and MAN oh MAN! Really pleased with the tone, humbuckers and coil tap and EQ options on this thing. Ibanez really went above and beyond with these and AMS as ive said before in my other reviews has always made it right. I was sketchy at first but this bass is amazing. Weight is light. Neck is oh so smooth. I didn't have to adjust anything out of the box keeping it in standard tuning. Great electronics! Tone give me so many options. I bought a prs and this at the same time but couldn't put down this bass.

I did some research and decided this would be my upgrade from a squire jbass. This is everything I could have asked for and more. Didn’t need a set up came from MS to TX in perfect condition. This is much easier to play, smaller neck low action. AMS matched another sell price and no sells tax for my state. Highly recommend product and company.

This bass arrived in need of a full set-up. Fretbuzz was soo bad, it was literally unplayable. Luckily I can handle a set-up but if someone was not so inclined it would mean a trip to a shop & $$$, or a return. Once I completed the set-up, the bass plays & sounds GREAT. Also looks great. No finish flaws. I am a big fan of the Soundgear line. I also own the SR500 (amazing) and the SR405.

Feels great and looks great (pewter black). The variety of tones are amazing and 3 band EQ lets you play every style from jazz to metal. I had to tighten a few frets and loosen the rod a bit. Intonation right on the button and it stays in tune no matter how you bend and slap. Did I mention it looks great???
