marky from Laredo TX
Quality:
It is very well made. The knobs and tuning keys are solid. craftsmanship is excellent.
Features:
Best features would have to be the neck and sound. Very fast and smooth neck. its perfect for my small hands. minimum effort is needed so you don't tired easily. The sound is killer. Great sounds gives you more confidence.
Sound:
The tone coming out of this bass is killer! I know my bass very well. i can make it sound punchy, growly, slappy or mellow. I play rock, latin, and funk with no problem.
Playability and Feel:
playability on soundgear basses is awesome. this bass in no exception. like I've said, its got a fast neck. the feel is great. its mahogany wood so this is heavy bass considering its a soundgear. most soundgear basses i've played with are lighter but this one sounds way better.
Tone:
The bartolini pickups are incredible. very hot and powerful.
Finish:
The finish is awesome. The wood grain feels very smooth and it looks great.
Action:
The action was good out of the box. I brought it down just a hair lower. It's just a matter of preference.
