An amazing bass that is worth the cost.
Quality:
I would say this is a well made bass, especially for the price. I can see this beauty lasting me for the ages. Seems very sturdy.
Features:
THe neck is thin and a fast player. The frets are a true compliment to the neck and string interface. The mahogany body with maple top sheet, in my experience, produces a sharp attack with nice sustain and low end to the sound. THe Bartolini pickups are great, not one complaint on their tone.
Sound:
With all the different EQ knobs and the active Bartolini pickups there is a tone to match any style of playing.
Playability and Feel:
THis is a light bass and the neck doesn't dive. It is well balanced and a playability is effortless. This makes for fast scale playing.
Tone:
Great tone that can be dialed in. The pickups grab that sound and throw it at your ears.
Finish:
The charcoal stain is great. A true beauty. The only issue I can see is on the back near the access panel: the lacquer coverage is a bit off, but not enough to send it back. The neck is satin smooth with no lacquer, sanded to perfection.
Action:
The action was set up very nice. Very low with minimal buzz from the E string. This is easily adjusted with the hex tools that come with the bass.

Best Bass Ever Played
Quality:
Absolutely! This is my third Ibanez bass and this is by far the best.
Features:
The narrow neck and smooth finish are the best features of this bass.
Sound:
Easy to adjust to match an individual's style and need.
Playability and Feel:
The bass is light. Neck and action are fast.
Tone:
With my plucking technique, in combination with the active pickups, produces a punchy, bright/snappy attack. However, with a slight change in my technique, I was able to produce a smooth attack and overall sound.
Finish:
Fantastic!
Action:
Outstanding! No adjustments necessary.

Need a Great Bass?
Quality:
If you are seriously looking for the best bang for your buck there is no other bass out there for you. This bass sounds like the presteige, looks like the prestiege, and is priced like an SG.
Features:
The tuners are BA, the pickups are perfect, the eq is better than you'd expect and though it may not seem like a feature but it weighs alot less than a warwick.
Sound:
Through my eden 410SXT I get all the tone I could imagine.
Playability and Feel:
When you pick up this bass you will instantly know that this is a professional instrument. It plays like a dream.
Tone:
I would describe the tone as smoth and warm. Allthough I would say that there's plenty of flexibility.
Finish:
It's beautiful! Allthough I love the finish I would prefer a more natural finish. Personal prefrence though.
Action:
Well not that I think it's fair to judge "action" out of the box(you should always have your gear setup by a pro) but my only complaint would be that the bridge is not a mono rail. Though that may not seem fair for a sub $1K bass.
