Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very well made without looking inside. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Remains to be seen. Looks solid and has a 5 yr. warranty, so at this point can't expect more. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Decent, but could be improved in some areas. The "boost" function is as stated- +6db (checked with a meter), but I would have paid a few bucks more to have it variable (knob at the amp) fm 0-+12db. I haven't used it with a band yet, so I don't know if the boost will be enough for solos. I would buy this amp again, it's very useable, but as with every amp I've owned, there are issues that could be improved upon. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Easy to use, especially with the optional footswitch, which to me is a must for playing with a group. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Clean chnl- bright and chimey; TS chnl is decent but not quite up to the TS-9 pedal, Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I bought this as a "scratch and dent" ($225) and could not find even the smallest cosmetic imperfection!!! Great value AMS! Action How was the action out of the box? N/A
