Haven't had a Tube Screamer for a long time - many other similar overdrives - so I thought I would try this and am glad I did. To me it's very transparent and gets that slightly overdriven sound I like with my Strats and Tele's. Highly recommended!

I think I’ve played most of the green tube type things available. Each might bring the slightest difference yet they’re all built around this. The mini is so convincing in a gig setting that those in the know question if it’s an original before seeing it. Save a little money an a bit of space on the board with this.

I have a Fender tube amp and like being able to gradually increase some volume and thickness to the sound, to make a new slot between clean and dirty sounds.
Sounds amazing with a strat or SSS style guitar, very mids friendly.
Not a "distortion" pedal...that's what your big muff is for !

Pedals come and go on my pedalboard, but the Ibanez Tube Screamer Mini will never leave it! I've tried this and the full size TS9 and I prefer the mini. Also compared it to the Boss Blues Driver and the mini comes out on top! Its awesome as a boost, too. The pedal is just an amazing tone that I will forever cherish and use. Long live the Tube Screamer!

Very sturdy construction, awesome tone shaping control, and huge sound are crammed into this little bad boy. From subtle and clean all the way to crunchy and gritty, push your amp to the MAX. As usual the Ibanez tube screamer, in this case the mini version, is never a waste of pedal board space or dollars... highly recommended no matter what style of music you play.

The smaller one is good if you dont use it all the time. Sounds amazing but I thought it would be a lot more awesome by all the reviews. Still it does what it is intended very well, my expectations might have been too high lol. Great with single coil PuPS.

I was in the need to give my tone a little push. After browsing on AMS, I found this Ibanez tube screamer mini. This is exactly what I needed to give my tone what it was missing. A huge positive is that this small compact pedal, sounds just like it’s bigger (in size brother), not to mention you save a little cash. This need is a pedal that everyone guitarist uses grab one now if you don’t have it!

Excellent pedal, small footprint. I have four drive boost pedals on my board. EP Clean Boost, the Ibanez mini Tube Screamer, a Maxxon OD 9, and an OCD pedal. The Ibanez fits perfectly with the others and has it's own sonic territory. I recently played the iconic Blues Alley club in Washington D.C. and it was the only drive pedal I used that night. Buy it.

I've put off getting me this unit, I'm so glad I have it now on my pedal board. I fought it for years not to get one,but know I have Tube Screamer I'm so happy. This unit is everything I thought it would be and it fits wonderfully on my pedal board.

Very good. If you have a power supply it saves a lot of space on the pedal board. Behaves and sounds just like the original / full size versions.
