I have been using the noise gate in my TC Electronics G Major in the loop and it works well but I still had feedback so I bought this. I have the ISP in front of the amp and G Major in the loop and could not be happier, my amp is dead quiet. Does not alter the tone and works perfect when you find the sweet spot.
