| Subject: | Trust me, I have 3 of these ---> Great guitars!! Period! |
| Quality:
| These are well made guitars albeit more expensive then others, but worth it. The Jackson USA line does NOT make a bad guitar. The last reviewer may need to have his professionally setup, especially if he wants very low action. Remember, shipping a guitar may cause you to have to adjust the neck as well. Another reviewer mention gain issues. Gain does NOT come from the guitar itself therefor not a reflection of the instrument. It comes from the pickups. I have the same stock Pickups and NO gain issues. |
| Reliability:
| Almost a year, and all 3 still play great |
| Overall:
| High Quality you would expect from Jackson I have 2 KV2s and 1 KV2T. My only minor criticism is that they call the frets on the KV2 jumbo but they are not as big as the frets on the earlier Jacksons |
| Playability and Feel:
| Thin wide compound neck that plays fast when you want to, very consistent with Jackson guitars.
Good balance for a V guitar |
| Tone:
| Good tone for a V as it is a Neck though. Obviously not quite as fat as a Les Paul but fat enough. |
| Finish:
| I have the "ghost Flames", "Nebula" and "Silver Dragon". All are pro finishes and look great. |
| Action:
| Very good, but I adjust mine a bit more to my liking. Most guitars are NOT going to be perfectly setup out of the box, regardless of the price. Thinking they are is an amateur’s misconception. - sorry |

| Subject: | Great Guitar, Crappy Tone !!! |
| Quality:
| Well Built, Solid as a rock, no flaws. |
| Reliability:
| Have played it serveral times, always stays in tune. |
| Overall:
| Great Guitar but over priced big time. |
| Playability and Feel:
| Neck is great, best thing about the guitar. I had to get some frets worked on due to some being a bit high and I like low action. |
| Tone:
| Tone is Flat, I mean Flat. I even replaced the TB-4 with and SH-6 and still doesnt have the gain as my other 6 guitars. I cant figure it out. Was very dissappointed in the tone. Sustain lags big time. Going to try a set of Seymour Duncan Blackouts. |
| Finish:
| Paint job is great, thick and shiny. |
| Action:
| It was ok, but I like it low for shredding. Had to have the neck worked on such as fret hight. |
