Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I have two American made Jacksons, and they have the best feel and sound of any guitar. That includes my Les Paul Standard and Strat. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Still looks brand new. Take care of it with adjustments on the neck and bridge. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Best guitar ever!!!!!!!!!!! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Its light weight, the ergonomics are outstanding, and the neck is to die for. I wish my girlfriend felt like this. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? It has a bright and snappy tone. But can really cover most tones. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I have a sunburst SL2H soloist and it still looks brand new, even though its 9 years old. Action How was the action out of the box? Awesome

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? 10 out of 10. I've heard some horror stories about some Jacksons, but I think those are random isolated incidents. Every USA Jackson I have ever played has been like a dream. Reliability How has it stood up over time? This is my first USA Jackson and I've had it for about 3 months. It has stood up fine to being lugged back and forth between home and practice. Other Jacksons I've had longer have stood up well and I expect the USA RR1 to hold up even better. Overall Your general opinion of this product. USA Jacksons are some of the best guitars out there. Period. The iconic shape of the Randy Rhoads is well represented in this USA Select series instrument. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The guitar plays like a dream, as it should for a $2K+ USA made instrument. The neck is smooth & fast and the compound radius fretboard is the best I have ever played on. Due to the Alder body, the guitar is fairly light weight, also a plus! I have the RR1T with tune-o-matic in place of the Floyd. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Again, wood combo and p/u selection. EMGs sounds awesome and so do the stock Duncans. Mine sounds amazing via my 6505+ and Marshall 1960B. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Mine is Metallic Silver and it looks incredible!!!
