Compact, Powerful and of course a JBL!

Well, not first class construction I must admit.
All Plastic stuff.
but I don't have any problem with it as long as they sound good which what they are doing.
Features:
Good sound for the Price, light, Compact & beautifully designed.
you can not ask for more from a pair of studio monitors, considering its price.

Sound:
JBL claim it's a reference monitor. I have had them for a week now so I've had not enough time to test them, therefore, I'm still not convinced if they are good enough for mastering.
but if you consider flat and "not easy to ear" sound as a characteristic for reference monitors, these JBLs definitively have this signature.
In conclusion, these Control 2Ps sound BIG, flat & fair.
Reliability:
I have had them for a week so it's yet to be seen.
Overall:
a steal for the price. I'm very happy with them.
