Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The product is well made and should hold up well over the course of time, bearing in mind the caveats previously mentioned. After having used JBL Professional products since the late 60's, I have found them to be top-notch / best in their class -- in every regard. I have no reason to expect otherwise from the MTC2P Wall Mount Kit. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Due to the relatively small size of the mounts, the speakers - once mounted on the wall - effectively hide them (the mounts) from view. This is a nice feature, as it gives the appearance that the Control 2Ps are "floating" on the wall - with no visible support structures. (All of the interconnecting cables were run behind the wall.) One feature that I would have added to this product would have been to fabricate them from metal ... not "polymer" (plastic), so as to give them greater mechanical strength and corresponding reliability. Further, one can only tighten plastic parts so much ... until, well ... you know (they fail!). Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? The JBL MTC2P Wall Mount Kit is very easy to work with. That being said, if one wishes to fasten the wall mounts to the vertical studs in one's wall ... that's where their design falls a bit short. The pre-drilled holes on the (2) wall-mount fixtures are too widely spaced to permit the fixtures to be mounted *directly* to a wall stud, so a couple of wall-mounted plates (metal or wood) are necessary in order to affix the JBL mounting fixtures to -- *then* said plates fastened to the stud(s) via lag screws. This wasn't a "deal breaker" by any means -- however the mounting holes should have been arranged to enable one to fasten the mounting assemblies directly to the stud(s), IMHO. Sound How is its Tone? Not applicable. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Insufficient time has elapsed in order to provide a reliable (or meaningful) answer to this question. Overall Your general opinion of this product. The mounts are more than satisfactory if intended for use with minimal adjustment. In other words, I believe they'll function adequately and with a high MTBF if used in a non-professional environment. For home and casual studio use, however, they ought to work admirably.
