I have a pair of PRX 812 and I loved it although i needed more ump!
The PRX 815 has the ump that the 12's did not have. Depending on how big your venue is you don't need a subs!!!

Great speakers. They produce a great sound out of the box no need to eq it. They have a button on the back that you can hold in till it flashes and it will lower the overall output of the speakers so they can be used with a crossover or how ever you want to set it up. Love the rca feature cause I can plug in my phone an iPad or computer and just play a list of songs right from one speaker. The bags are a plus as they do a great job keeping the speakers protected and clean at the same time. Best purchase this year by far glad I made the switch from peavy to JBL.

When they first came out with the PRX 615, i fell in love with the brand. then the PRX 715 was trash and now this 815 is completely rubbish. When i bought it, the first time i played it i heard something rattling in the box, they fix that. it blowed one week later and they fixed that. in covid my wife hook up her phone onto it in the house and it blow again. And all this time all they kept saying, It's manufacture issue. I'm currently stuck with two blown speakers.

These speakers sounded great right out of the box, nice and clear. The dual pole mounts are great and DSP works great, it is nice to able do adjustments from a tablet, but connecting to wifi for first time took some time, (could be from using an older router) but after that they log right on. I can't wait gig them soon because I like them so much. If your looking to upgrade from lower end speakers, these JBLs are the ones to get.

I know? QSC this!! Mackie that!! Blah Blah Blah. JBL has been holding down for awhile peeps!! I been rockin JBL’s since EON Gen 2 was hot boo boo. I’ve owned them all SRX/PRX/MARQUIS and 2nd tier YAMA’s,Mack’s,Carvin etc last 25yrs. These PRX815W gives you the state of the Art performance in a portable Powered PA. They can handle any situation alone w/o Subs. think about roll up with just these 2 units rock the house and get paid! best money you’ll ever spent!

Great speakers I used them for a outdoor gig for a bike rally of about 350 people. Had one PRX715 and one prx815 couldn’t tell the difference between them. You need to update the firmware before using them and read the online manual.

Great sound quality, also purchased them with growth in mind. Not overpowering because of the adjustments from sound board and back of speakers. But when used in a larger venue The have the power to perform as well. This speaker is taking care of our needs now and in the future. Great value for the price!

These speakers first appearance are appealing to the eye. They sound great. The only drawback that I am having is difficult connecting to pro connect when I do a new set up. When it does connect it’s a pretty good program for tuning each speaker. I feel comfortable selling my sound factors.

I must say I am believer in the powered speakers nowadays. I've used non-powered speakers for years for my DJ/karaoke business for my shows. I'm also a big believer in JBL speakers. I went from using Peavey to JBL which I ran the JBL MRX500 series of speakers. A friend of mine turned me on to the powered speakers and I stayed with JBL. I run a karaoke show every weekend out on the road. I use a JBL PRX815W top and a JBL PRX815XLFW Sub. They pair up great together and have had many compliments on the sound of my shows. I'm looking to add another JBL PRX815W to make a pair in the near future. I just want to say Thank You JBL! You make my job alot easier and make my shows sound great! I would turn anyone on to the JBL series of speakers. Top notch professional sound.

love it, super light and sounds awesome, great features paired these with some subs and blew everyone away. i got the included covers and they are very nice, they fit snug and have a decent padding to protect the cabinets. The included power cord is also a very thick gauge and extra long which was awesome cause i didnt need a extra extension cord when i put them on the stands.
