Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Very good since I can see it - all metal case and little rubber legs on the bottom prevent it from slipping
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Just bought it, first day tried with the Behringer modeling amp on clean and overdrive channels - both sounds great!
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
it looks great and it's really a piece of art design
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It feels cool, esp that green emerald stripe with white field around the control knobs plus blue LED light when switched on - all around looks great! The tumbler for sound shaping is of a cool use on stage and it's easy to switch. The knobs rotates easily and you don't need to adjust them a lot - roll it on all way to the end - volume and overdrive and 15 past 6 on the sound color and you'r done.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
As I've told already - the tone is very natural, transparent and even with a solid state amp it reminds me my all tube Epiphone SoCal-50 with the classic overdrive from MXR.
I believe it's a great solution for blues, classic and hard rock players. You can try to add Super Comp from MXR or any other to get additional clarity and brightness with a bit of rock punch as I've tested it in that combination
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
excellent! Easy convenient access to the battery compartment on the bottom side
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Reliable and easy to use
