I do a lot of recording and have a miked up 4x12 locked away, I use all my tube amps (even a two watt amp) with a Ted Weber Attenuator and this amp loves the rest of my rig. With a self built and modded TS clone the tone is killer on the normal channel but when I kick in the OD channel it's controlled bedlum which is exactly what I like. I also have used this with THD Yellow Jackets (pentode) with fantastic results. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I would say N/A but once it's not under warranty I'm replacing the blue with the jet city logo with balck metal grate. However part of that is because of swapping out the Yellow Jackets, I did the same thing to My old Mesa/Boogie SOB. With the grate I can hold it on with wingnuts and have quick access to the tubes from the front.
